That’s one new excuse for another mounts-like-in-WoW thread… Sigh.

Ever heard of waypoints?

Clearly you haven’t grasped that waypoints don’t allow you to travel everywhere. You will always have to be bugged by mobs you don’t need to be bugged by – EVEN WHEN PLAYING A SO-CALLED STEALTHED CLASS

Knockdown is a “fun” mechanic.

I just hate combat speed. >.<

At least we heal up while out of combat. If we didn’t then we would easily die like in WoW (unless we are playing a tank or any ranged class).

It’s a nuisance – an annoyance that has to be experienced to be understood – to run to an area (since this game doesn’t allow flying mounts like in WoW) and be stunned, slowed, crippled etc. etc. etc. by EVERY SINGLE MOB I PASS.

You got the leveling right; you got the questing right; you got target system somewhat right. Couldn’t you also have gotten the mobs right?

How does it make sense that a simple beaver can cripple me just because I pass it?
I find it acceptable if mobs in level 80 areas cripple or stun or something, but in non-80 areas it’s braindead.

In WoW the most annoying thing about traveling has always been that EVERY single mob, literally, has a stun, cripple, slow or something alike it to bug you while you are traveling.
Since WoW introduced flying mounts, it made the game much better in the areas where flying was possible, since you could ignore the mobs (mostly ) while traveling.

Since Arena is focusing on GW2 still (because there’s still money left in it, apparently), I think the introduction of better mobs (mobs that don’t stun every single God kitten time) or introduction of flying mounts AFTER map completion would do the game good.
