The ones I feel guilty about is the ones I made to be mules. They started their life leveling, seeing the world, thinking they would be the hero who would kill a dragon and have a fulfilling, meaningful existence.

Then one day they reach level 30 and I take them to see this really cool jumping puzzle with the ghost of a pirate and all sorts of tricks and traps. However, once they reach the end and open the chest, they are abandoned. After that they stand in that cold, clammy dark cave and open the chest once a day. They will never see the sun again or feel the wind on their face or gain in strength and levels. Their endgame went from the world to silence and darkness.

Mine can’t jump to save their lives, nothing to do with me of course, clearly they have and issue with depth perception and timing so now they are all ascended iron farmers…

Not anymore n the end they are just npc’’s really. But assuming u feel guilty on a level of principle and insteaad see the npc’s as hypothetical scenarios that reflect on how u would handle things. Then yes I felt guilty in the past. I hope by god you don’t see them as real people OP.

Lol, no I don’t see them as real people, I do sometimes think it would be nice to participate since the devs spent time making the event, then I carry on chopping trees and run away.

So you’re running around doing map completion or daily gathering and an NPC comes up to you asking for help. Do you ever feel guilty when you run away from them? Or do you take time out to do the event? Or do you start the event then run away?!

If you just zoom in a bit you can see the 92 is pasted on top and a different colour..

So in today’s daily the vanilla GW2 you have the daily of Kryta Vista Viewer and in the HoT version you have Maguuma Vista Viewer, the Kryta Vista Viewer refuses to add to watch list when you manually click it from the daily panel. You can still do the daily so it’s not that big a deal..

Ever since HoT came out, log in > mine rich iron ore on 46 chars > sell > log out.

So according to gw2 efficiency my account is worth 35,000+ gold, not including the cost to craft all ascended armours/weapons and items I have in my personal guild bank(s).

Would I want to swap that for a refund of the core game… no.

Probably cos you are on a different update to other members in the party. Everyone has to log out and back in, but then you will lose your instance…

The irony would be that you purchase a gem store reveal item to reveal your gem store purchase history :p

Made several free accounts to reserve char names for the char slot sale that never happened. Levelled one of the free account to 80 to see the limitations (not being able to sell my expensive exotic drops being one of them). Although seeing the original lions arch when doing personal story after 3 years was nice nostalgia.

On my main account, hoarding mats and doing dungeons to bide the time.

I have 34, IF there’s a char slot discount like last year then I’ll be having 42… Make as many as you want. Each of mine serve a purpose, daily gathering, daily jp, dungeon specific chars, wvw specific chars, my conditions necro atm is used to carry all the infused rings from fractals but is still used for gathering.

I ran down a ramp in SE dungeon took fall damage and died…

Still holding onto my 5500 gems for char slots…

Managed to grind a char on a free account to lvl 30. Now with 130ap time to level in dungeons and see how many times I get kicked!

I got 2 of them. I was going to donate one to the homeless but it’s account bound so I had to trash it. Such a shame.

I received two as well. Unfortunately I’m a hoarder so that’s another bank slot gone.. >.<

So glad my ley line warhorn was not affected by this. If it was I’d have to stop playing those warhorn chars till it got fixed!

Just 1 question,if i ever forget my code,how can i unlink my account,i wrote the code i used to link it on paper but i did not write the code that Anet gived me to get the code at first place.Now im trying and no way i can unlink it without that long code,WinAuth wont generate code without it.

You’ll probably have to contact Support to unlink. However, wait a day. I read that the mini will be sent tomorrow to all people who already have the authenticator.

I already got my mini ^^,thats not the issue.But yeah,in case i got stuck someday that i cant login to the game,i will have to contact support to give me back that “secret code”.

It doesn’t matter if you forget the secret code. I made that mistake just now but luckily it is saved in the WinAuth.exe app. Just open it up and right-click your Authenticator and choose ‘Show Secret Key’.

Farmed 450 of these from CoE/Air elementals for Bolt and Mjölnir, then another 60 to craft Scholar runes, glad that’s over with..

Graveyard Bloom weapon skin from Twilight Arbor Aetherpath, 350g sell value. Got Rodgort’s Flame precursor from doing Arah path, 109g sell value. Still have them in the bank waiting for that magical price spike..

As long as you are only controlling one account at a time it’s fine.

Ok so it’s nearly the end of work and I’m tired but this idea came into my head and I wondered if it is worth doing..

Firstly this would have been more worth it with the 75% account sale but can still work over time.

So the idea is buying an extra account just for the monthly laurels, that’s 55 laurels over 28 days, go to a laurel vendor and convert them to Heavy Crafting Bags. That’s 165 T6 mats in return. Assuming you don’t need T6 and assuming the average price of all the T6 you get back in a month is around 30s each, that works out 50g a month from logging into an account and logging out.

If you got the account during the 75% sale you make back the 500 gems in less than two months and it’s then just profit after that. Only thought of this cos I have 600 laurels hanging around and worked out it’s about 540g worth of T6 mats…

It depends on my mood, I couldn’t stick to one. I have 3 of every profession at lvl 80, some of them I haven’t actively played for a long time (cough ranger cough) but I log into each character daily for daily gathering. Most of them have 5-7% map completion, just enough to unlock all dungeon waypoints.

You could spend just 1 laurel on T6 Mats, sell them and use the gold to buy the unidentified dye. Assuming you don’t need the T6..

One of the benefits of having ascended weapons/armour for me is it is account bound, so if you have multiple characters you can just swap things about without having to repurchase the same weapon/armour/sigils/runes over and over..

Don’t really have a favourite, depends which char I’m using ‘The Blazing Light’ for ele for example or ‘The Tormentor’ for condi mesmer.

The most fake title you can get I think is Dungeoneer, since you can obtain this through pvp without even stepping foot in a dungeon! Not saying it’s not hard to get either way but still a bit misleading…

Just run around in EotM for a bit. I got from lvl 2-20 in under 2 hours last night on my second account. Gonna wait till lvl 60 before I use my scrolls, wool/cotton/linen drops are more appealing to me.

Bought account for daughter, ready for her next visit. She was completely new to GW2 and very put off by the NPE and especially traits. She’d played, and enjoyed WoW in the past.

I should probably write up her experience with NPE as we talked about it quite a bit – I was surprised just how unimpressed she was, even though she loved the graphics and active combat. I tried to sell it a little, but her being a teen, this was doomed to fail!

I’m just glad I didn’t preload some gems. I had thought of doing.

So apart from her trial it’s ended up doing a couple of hours, or less, of Maize farming, and it’s a bit of extra storage/alt space now.

You mean she didn’t enjoy spamming skill 1 till level 13??? You spoil her too much :p
