These questions have all been answered dozens of times already.

1. The Revenant is exclusive to the Expansion pack.
2. We don’t yet know if we get a free character slot with the Expansion pack.
3. There will be a Deep Dive talking about the Revenant in great detail before launch.
4. The Expansion Pack will be sold seperately – there’s no way ArenaNet will allow Gems.

That leaves questions 1 and 3 answered, thanks. As for number 4, can I have a link to the post that was in? I can’t find it.

The introduction of a new class to the game in my opinion would be an outstanding addition to the game, but me as well as others i’m sure have probably been speculating how this might impact the game both positively and negatively. It undoubtedly raises a lot of questions among the community that we may or may not get answers to before the release itself. I thought i’d create a forum post for people to create and answer their own questions and share their thoughts on the class itself, while possibly getting answers for my own questions.

My questions

Will this new class be included exclusively to the expansion? Or will it be available to everyone after Heart of Thorns is released? I say this because Guild Wars 2 is a game that to me, felt like nothing was locked off due to money, skill, or time spent playing the game. Will this new expansion contradict that feeling?

On that note, if we are given this profession whether it be a part of our purchase or given to us for free if we have reached our capacity of 5+ characters will we have to pay for an extra slot via gems to use this new profession? Or will we get another slot free?

I personally believe that before the expansion is released we should get more info about this class, so we can see how it compares to the other professions in the game. After all this is the first time something like this has happened and we don’t it to be over powered we want it to be balanced, but at the same time effective on it’s own. Can we get some extensive gameplay demos of this profession in action in both PvE and PvP?

One final arbitrary question. I know that the price of as the time i’m posting this on the expansion hasn’t been confirmed, but will the expansion be sold separately from the game? Or like the digital deluxe version of the game will we be able to purchase it with gems inside the game itself, because in so doing we’d technically be able to buy it with gold rather than actual money. I think it’s safe to assume that won’t be the case, but I just want to clear up any confusion.

I went through the entire mission, and it worked fine, but it requires you to make a choice either to help an asuran scientist, or help free someone from jail, after I make my choice it directs me to talk to Trahearne who is still waiting for me to make my choice, and his dialogue won’t start making the mission impossible to finish. I’ve redone the mission multiple times and tried both options several times, but it doesn’t seem to fix. Any known fixes?
