So, I want my Ghostly Wraith Masque back from when I first started. I want to transmute it on my head armor. The problem? I can’t get it back. I can’t buy one as they are soul bound. Any suggestions?
Lol, I have a cat that likes to bring me little “presents”, you know dead birds, almost dead mice, distressed baby bunnies and such.
Well my flesh golem does almost the same. But instead he brings back 2 or 3 slightly hurt risen foes on top of the one or two I picked a fight with. This generally prompts some quick AoE, and four or five second fight, because I can take them!, followed by a turn about and retreat with DS activated, and then the AoE DS skill while my golem decides to keep the fight going til the death!, His death.

I play Necro for PVE, WvW, and PVP. I will tell you my experiences. In PVE, Necro is a support character, mostly good for providing meatshields( minions), and conditions. In general, during dungeon runs I often hear that the runs go faster when my Necro is there, not smoother, but faster. In WvW, the Necro is an escape artist. When your …. Hmm.. Group? Squad? Commrades? Are flanked, as a Necro it is likely that you will be one of the few to escape. In PVP th Necro does surprisingly well. Cons: longer time to make a kill, and mesmers and thieves cut your necros to pieces, quickly. Pros you can hold a point for a descent amount of time, and generally will survive against two players long enough for one of your teammates to stroll on by. ( unless facing a Mesmer or thief). I once held a control point for over 3 minutes against a ranger and a warrior. So there is my Necro experience so far and for what it’s worth.
Ohh, as far as water battles, I can’t give a good perspective as I have not tried the other professions, but generally the Necro is terrible underwater… Could be the way I play, or the profession, not sure.
So, my wife and I play together. She wants Orrian Armor, and I want Twlight Armor. She has two pieces already since explorable mission party’s are none stop at Arah, I have 85 out of the needed 1400 deadly blossoms I need from Twlight Dungeon. The reason is lack of parties running the twlight dungeon. My suggestions:
1. Less blossoms for Twilight armor.
2. Something else given as drops, that have mystic forge value and can only be found at Twlight dungeon to encourage more dungeon parties.
3. Some npcs we can take in the dungeon.
Please consider, thank you.
I discovered more issues with the Superior Rune of Vampirism. What was posted earlier is correct, you lose your skills for 3s but you are NOT invulnerable, in addition this rune creates havoc with mist form. During mist form it will lock you mist form skill bar twice, first in the few seconds of use and again when mist form hits 10%,. Also, the skill you were about to use when it locks is set to cool down, so basically this Rune is dangerious to use, particularly in pvp situations. So to sum up, a Necro using the sixth rune will experience three 3s times of not being able to use skills, while still being vulnerable.
I have 6 superior runes of vampirism attached to my elite armor. The sixth rune is suppose to give the bonus of becoming “mist” when below 10%. Not fully sure what “mist” is… But I assumed it triggers mist form, and yes I am a Necro. So, I went to be noobie land to test it out, I let some bandits hit me til I hit 10% health, and …….. Nope no “mist”, instead I get an automatic weapon swap. Since I do not weapon swap, and have no second weapon equipped, I get a blank skill bar, nice!! So, need help understanding exactly what the 6th rune bonus is, and need the rune to do as designed please. Tyvm.
