What If GW2 expansions have nothing to do with the dragons?

so hear me out.

the coming event in Nov what if we get to know that Bubbles have emerged from the depths?

What If all the other dragons are introduced like this rather than they having a separate expansion about each one of them like what we have been all expecting till now?

and by the time the first expansion comes out we have dealt with all dragons and go ahead into a new campaign. Just like in GW1 each campaign was about totally something else. Could this be true for GW2 as well?

If yes then that would be great! I would love to get done with fight against the dragons and get on to totally new enemy or threat.

After thinking about it like that i would now hate to play each expansion about each dragon which is so predictable.

what are your thoughts on this?

would you prefer that dragons are dealt with before the first expansion is released and the expansion taking us on a totally another path or would you like each expansion to deal with each of the individual elder dragon threat ….being that straight ahead are 4 expansions just about the elder dragons.
