Now it’s on sale…..I’m asking GW2 for a partial refund.

When I type /age, it shows about 100 hours extra because I was hacked almost 2 years ago but I was able to get my account back, not lose anything and delete the character that was created on my account. Is there a way to delete the amount of hours that the gold farmer/hacker played? I know this is a stupid question…

Yea but it takes too much effort lol..Anyways….which skin should I get in the gem store? I’ve looked at all of them but it seems like I need to use charges to reapply them. So maybe I should wait til lvl 80?

I have a question about Heritage Armor. Is it worth buying Eye of the North for? I have GW1 and a lvl10 character but I don’t know how easy it is to get all the skins, but it looks really cool.

Well, it’s worth it if you want more skins and AP. If you don’t want the skins or don’t care about AP, it’s not worth it.

My husband and I both got Eye of the North a few months ago just to do the HoM stuff, really. It didn’t take us very long to beat it, and we’re both about 15-20 points into the HoM now (I have a few more points since I have Factions and Nightfall, whereas he just has Prophecies and EoTN).

How long does it take? Are there better skins to get that I can apply infinitely?

Look at the link randulf shared above and type your name into the field. It’ll show you all the rewards (click on one of the icons under Reward Meter to bring up a picture of the skin, mini, or pet you’d get for each point). As for how long it took, with the two of us playing a couple of hours every night, I think it took three weeksish? Maybe less?

It says I’ve earned 3/50
Heritage Great coat, Jerkin and Warplate

and 3 weeks? O.o

As I said, that was us playing just a little bit of time at night. And not every day. Plus, I also said I wasn’t sure exactly how long it took. :p Plus, it’s an expansion. It’s not like it’s some very short DLC.

And yes, you get three points for linking your accounts.

Are there better skins I can buy?

Look for yourself in-game. Go look at the wardrobe.

Using the integrated graphics chip works, but it lags like hell. This doesn’t happen to any of my other games on my 7950…

Horizontal lines flickering on the bottom half of the screen. Normal temperatures for both CPU and GPU, and only happens to this game.

The character menu seems to lag more than usual too…

Help?

I get like 30 fps in Lion’s Arch and the fps doesn’t always stay above 60 in other areas where there’s barely anybody. Playing on maxed out except for sampling which is at native, but even on supersample the fps lag doesn’t change so much.

I’m a human female ele with red clothing. Phoenix looks awesome but Profane isn’t that bad. I’m planning to buy 2k gems, but I don’t feel like spending 800 on Phoenix since I won’t know where to use Profane since I already own it…So which one?

I bought this game way back, the digital deluxe edition for $80. But I just bought it again for $20 on the gem store for the heroic edition alone lol. I know I’m not supposed to do that because it’s a bit waste of money but I wanted to support ArenaNet. However, is there a standalone for that coming?

Bump, I think i’m perfectly safe, because the guy who bought me this doesn’t even play MMOs, so I don’t think he even plays GW2 and knows about support. And he has no absolute reason to do this to me, it’s very specific, so yea…

And how did my friend do the best thing? She didn’t tell that guy to put her own email, but instead his email, therefore she didn’t get the order receipt and he was able to terminate.

Gaile, I was told you can put a new cd key on the account, but another support guy said you can’t…

Also, someone told me that to close a GW2 account..or any account really, a credit card is not enough to prove it….a order receipt would be also needed because the person and Arenanet themselves wouldn’t know what to terminate.

Well, my friend wasn’t able to activate the account back up with a new cd key…after it was closed…but do you think I will be able to?
I’ve asked GW2 if I can replace my cd key now, but they said I can’t.

Yup, the big difference here is that I have the order receipt…while my friend didn’t have it, and only the guy that bought her it had the order receipt sent to him. So do you think I would be fine? Because I’m the only one with the order receipt.

The person who bought it for me put my email address, so I got the order receipt, and I saved in multiple places. However, a friend of mine got a copy from her friend in the same way, except that it wasn’t her email but instead it was the person who bought her the copy’s email, therefore….for some reason, the guy contacted ArenaNet Support and used his credit card information and order receipt to terminate the account so she doesn’t have the game anymore…

So my question is, do you think that will happen to me? The guy who bought me the game was an online friend I met, but he hasn’t been online for like 3-4 months. However, he was a nice guy and he probably forgot about buying me this, and he doesn’t have the order receipt..so he wouldn’t be able to terminate my account in any way. Do you think it’s necessary to start my own account? It’s expensive to buy another copy with my own money, and I’ve played some time on my current account (not much, but like 10-20 hours).
