I completely understand where you’re coming from. I don’t think it’s comes down to whether or not the can or can’t do something it’s more like will they or won’t they. They’re quite capable of doing positive things, it seems to me that they just get derailed all the time, they start out with good intentions their follow through with promises is what is lacking imo. But as for WvW it’s such an easy fix. All it takes is some dedicated people who are willing to invest time in a project that will help the games population grow again. It can be done. I’m not sure it will be, but it can.

I see that quite a bit of WvW players like to new BL’s But want certain aspects of it removed or changed. While other players don’t want Desert or Alpine and would prefer a completely new map that meets all their “needs” and “wants” as WvW players. Then you have the players like myself who despise the Desert BL’s and don’t want to take a “leap of faith” with completely new maps.. There is a way to satisfy everyone I believe and that would be one of two things.
1) WvWvW is 3 servers facing off for control of territory why not make it so that each week 3 servers swap borderlands (much like colours) doing this would mean blue server has Alpine Red has Desert and green has a new map, while keeping the good ol’ ebg.

2) I’ve heard and seen it suggested that the WvW maps should be rotated one week you have alpine next desert etc etc.

That being said I personally think that option one would be best simply because those like me who hate Desert and just wish to have Alpine back and vice versa (with those who just want completely new maps) are all satisfied. People may say things like “one borderland will be dead while the other two are booming with activity” or some kitten like that however that’s not the case, something a lot of people seem to be overlooking is that a good majority of people actually enjoy the Desert borderlands while those who like Alpine may outnumber them I still believe that this idea would benefit the WvW population immensely. There are a lot more things that need improvements other than just changing the maps but this topic is just to see what people think.

I’m not active on forums (I plan to be however) so I have no idea if this was suggested yet (option one I mean) but please give your feedback and let me know what you think. Maybe Anet will see this post and agree with one of the two.

i got an email today saying that an unauthorized IP address was being used from Guangzhou i looked it up and its says its in china but thats not important the email suggested i change my password so i did so but i was just wondering is there anything else i can do ? i got a link to authorize it but no link to block it so i dont know how to do that either but thanks for any help/information anyone can provide
