It was my understanding that name reservations required you to make a character with that Guild Wars 1 name that you have within a specific number of days after launch.

Ignore this post as this person isn’t informed on the subject.

GW1 names are still reserved for linked GW2 accounts. They will remain reserved until further notice, most likely until all of the issues with launch are fixed (hacked accounts and such).

Your best bet would be to contact support with your problem, they may be able to help.

That is not my understanding but if that is the case then my fault.

I feel for you all. I experienced a roll back but nothing as bad, I just had to redo an entire area of exploration. Didn’t lose any items or gold, just my exploration progress.

Yep sure did, the issue is when I create the toon on GW2 with the same name it says it is reserved to an account and cannot be used.

I finally got around to linking my accounts, I login and there was a registered code as my name so I went ahead and tried creating a new character, can’t even use my reserved name. So I logged out and went back to my default account, tried logging in another, both accounts used the same email and password, logged in, name was fine, but still can’t registered a character with my reserved name. Is there a step I’m missing? I would rather link my old GW1 account but can’t even remember the details for it.

We are always looking for fun. Our goal is to help our members expand and grow in the world of Tyria. We not only look for fun but enjoy some PvP when we can do it as a guild. Events around the lands are our target when just casually playing. Dungeons are something we strive to accomplish but at this time no one is max level but soon, very soon. We are laid back and enjoy a good conversation on TS or through guild chat. We welcome all professions and walks of life. Even though we stipulate 18+ we are open to younger if they maintain a mature attitude following recruitment then they stay in the guild.

Come one, come all, ask and you shall receive. Our website has a dedicated section to allow our members to get character help, barter off items they have picked up, or even look to other guild members for help whether it be gold, gems, or crafting mats. In the end, our first rule is to be polite and help out our members when we can.

Currently working on obtaining enough points so we can get a guild bank but at the moment it is slow. Recruiting is our focus and as members join and level we will obtain more points so we can upgrade our guild. In the end, the guild bank will allow for our members to share crafting items and provide crafted items to other members that can use them.
