I don’t get your point there.

You can’t take pvp gear outside pvp.
And inside pvp areas it is zero income for gold/karma/laurels anything but the pvp currency (glory in case you didn’t know) and zero outcome too = balanced?

You can take pve gear to wvw and vice versa and you earn gold/karma for doing them so what’s the problem there?

PvP is fine as it is and the best system in any mmo

Ever heard of discovery? Put few pieces in there and see what happens. It rewards you with load of XP and a new recipe. Never level crafting in GW2 like in WoW, use discovery. Period.

It seems to have like 2-4 charges and when those are used there seems to be some kind of hidden cooldown which resets charges back to a random count. And in addition there’s the range limit which is clearly much less than 1200.

Then give us GW2 expansion sets like Pets, Bon Voyage or Mansion&Garden stuff set.

Anyway a great suggestion!

At least some of these would be needed to make this even more fun:

1. It should be instanced and you could invite anyone to join your house and only invited people can get there. The instance could be located virtually anywhere, if you wanna live in Malchor’s Leap with kittenload of Risen in your back yard, go ahead. I’d personally prefer Queensdale over Malchor’s.

2. Choosing a theme and style for the house. For example you would have 5 different themes (1 for each race) and few styles (human themed houses could be either gorgeous villas or plain farmer cabins) but you could freely choose a theme and style despite of character race (charr could get an asura-themed house).

3. Interior design, furniture and decorations with lots of different colors, styles and a free placement of course.

4. Exterior design like walls, roof, chimney, flowers, trees, fence etc etc.

5. Activities like crafting stations or snowball throwing at a yard of a norn themed house. Why not playing some dice with friends?

6. Storage. Add gear lockers, access to bank, or just plain chest which acts like a bank where you can store a small amount of stuff. Maybe an achievement display where invited people can look at trophies of your accomplishments.

Purchasing a house and adding content in it should cost something (gold, karma or trophies). Also much content should be available from dungeons, exploring, events or other activities (for example having a drinking competition with pirates could award you with the table you drank from or helping seraph getting rid of centaur banners could award you with one of those banners).

Also a housing for guilds would be nice. They would be themed larger halls with same content available as individual player housing.

And just in case someone doesn’t understand my english or is too lazy to read:

When my staff will have two rune/gem slots for upgrades – than its OK.
For now its ok like it is.

A single extra rune is not worth double the cost.

I can see charging 60% or even 65% of the cost of a 2hander for each 1-hander for a total of 120 to 130% karma cost for dual wield, but 200% is beyond the pale I say.

At least renown heart karma vendors sell 1h weapons with lower price than 2h. For example a lvl 73 one in Frostgorge sells a scepter for 850 and staff for 1280. So there’s your 65%.

This would lead to issues with both pvp and pve grouping: “not with that gear lol” or “take this and this skill/trait instead of those” etc etc… I like being anonymous with my gear and build.

NO full stealth please. Thieves already stealth enough.
You could just run a full guild of thieves in WvW and cap points without people even knowing you were there.
Everyone else needs to run through enemies to gather or get a vista and so should thieves.
And they already got too many abilities to keep up with enemies moving or dodging so you would give them another chance to start combat straight at melee range.

No need to wait few loading screens when it could be instant.

How about adjusting travel prices so they count from nearest main city? For example when waypointing from Fields of Ruin to Metrica Province (almost 4 silver @lvl80) the cost would be only calculated by the distance between Rata Sum and the waypoint you’re going to (less than 1.5 silver @80). Get the point?

absolutely +1!

This game has so much potential in both PvE and PvP that almost every idea would work.

Arenas was something I really enjoyed back in WoW. Only one thingkitten me off: I was always undergeared. In this game gear wouldn’t be a problem and class balance three weeks after launch is better than WoW could ever achieve. They’re just making each class more and more OP after each other.

If you could just change traits anywhere, choosing a build would be inconsequential.

You prepare, and then go fight.

If I’ve never done a dungeon lets say AC how can I prepare for it?

I would like to have an option to reset trait book anywhere in the world.

It costs 3s 50c to reset traits at trainer at max level but the trainer isn’t there when your current trait build doesn’t serve you well enough in a particular situation (dungeon, world boss, wvw etc.) So it would be nice to reset traits anywhere like in the Mists, for a fee of course. Something like triple trainer price would be tough enough to make you think if you really need your traits reset now or if you wanna do it later for less coin.

Also saving trait builds would be nice. And loading them would have the same price as resetting (if it’s done at trainer or somewhere else respectively).

Opinions or suggestions?

Noticed this extremely minor bug wasn’t reported at forum yet. The item mentioned at topic title is missing a letter “T” and is spelled Transmuation in game.
