Guild Wars 2

I recently got a new computer and transferred my Guild Wars 2 client over to it from the old one one our LAN. Since doing that and the most recent patch coming out, it keeps scanning (looks like downloading) and then saying 100% and lets me log in. I am worried with what looks to be a new larger patch coming out soon that it will want to Download it every time. Any hints or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I would like to be pro-active somewhat about this as I am sure you will be super busy when the patch is released.

This is very disheartening for the RP Community on a whole. People have built a place in the Community using what Anet had available for them. With lack of guild halls and structure this was an amazing option. I really hope they bring this back so we can once again pursue using what we have all worked so kitten.

Though our travels may take us from Hoelbrak we are the Norn. Strong, Proud, Loyal, and Honorable. We carry our history in our hearts and sing our songs loudly for all to hear. We are many in number and need a place to call our own no matter where in Tyria we set our feet. Gather together brothers and sisters, raise your steins of mead to stories or lift your weapons in battle against our foes. Though Jormag has pushed us from our home, we look to the future and to reclaim what is ours. When the time comes Bear grant us Might, Snow Leopard help us plan and laugh at the Elder Dragon, Wolf make our numbers Strong and Loyal, and if need be Raven guide us when we pass over.

Who we are.

We are a Norn guild on the Tarnished Coast server with a “good” alignment, anywhere within that spectrum is what we wish to have. We have recently formed and seek to give all Norn that want a place to call home and be with others of our kind. At this time we have opened up to other races as well, with a plausible back story. Please send us a message on our Forums [link] or message one of the contacts listed, in game to discuss it. We are tying to stay within the Lore so please no Norn/Other Race Hybrids, if you are struggling with a storyline but would love to be part of a Norn guild we will do our best to help you create a storyline to fit.

Our Roleplay Style
Upon inception we began as light RP’ers since most of us were new to RP. We have since grown to fit comfortably within the Medium range and look forward to become more involved with Rpas we go. We ask that while you fly the NORN flag and RP in Tyria that you do so with respect to other guilds and the ruling bodies you may encounter. We are strong believers in taking the consequences in character for you actions. We can usually be found at the end of the day in a Tavern sharing drinks and stories with one another, and as we grow we will look at setting up our own storylines with our guildmates for us take part in RPing.

Where in the Moot can I fit in?

We have decided as stated above to open our doors to other races with reasonable backstory and supporting Lore for it. We are aligned with Good, and prefer people who would like to play this as well. We were all fairly new to RP ourselves and welcome newcomers with open arms, and certainly would love to have some seasoned veterans too!

Location, Location, Location!

We have no set location as of yet. We would love to be able eventually to set down some firm roots in Hoelbrak. We enjoy roving the Taverns of Tyria at this time, The Golden Sun in Divinity’s Reach and The Cloud Skimmer in Lion’s Arch being two of our favourites. To Alt or Not.

We are open to accepting Alt’s and are happy to RP when you have the chance to work us in. We do ask that if you are playing your main within our guild you do us the service by repping at least half the time you play that character.
