GW2 feels like such a lonely place. Just came back to the game after playing beta and the initial release and the lower levels are just empty, so the chance of me making any friends on it are slim now. As a result, there isn’t much chance of me being able to do dungeons because I have no interest in spamming chat to get into them.
I believe that I make up a very large number of their casual players and I suspect they all feel the way I do. I play many other games, such as DOTA2 like a “hardcore gamer” and GW2 is the only game I play casually because the structure of it lends its self to it well and when you have no RL friends who play the game, it’s hard to play it for many hours a time.
They really do need to change this. I hope that at Christmas there will be more people in the lower levels having just got the game.
