Hey, so, first time posting on the forums. Hopefully I can at least provide some decent fuel for discussion.

Story time: I’ve got a set of Berserker’s ascended armor that I originally made for my Elementalist, running Scholar runes and D/W Fresh Air and being all meta and everything, with the plan being to run T3/T4 fractals and eventually break into raiding once I could talk the rest of my tiny guild into coming with me. I ended up taking a break from the class, though, because I’ve sunk like 800 hours into it and I needed something else to run obsessively.

That ended up being a Mesmer, and since then I’ve taken that ascended armor and slotted Superior Runes of Leadership from Dragon’s Stand into it so I can do the perma-quickness Chronomancer meta thing.

Now I’m thinking of dusting off my Elementalist and getting back into endgame content with him, but I’m kinda stuck with this set of armor set up for a Mesmer, since I can’t really salvage the runes or the armor without losing one or the other. I’m working on a second set of ascended armor specifically for my Elementalist, but until then I want to try and make what I’ve got work. Keyword being “try”.

So my question: Can I take a set of Berserker’s armor slotted with Leadership runes, throw it on an Elementalist, and parlay that into a build that would work in fractals and raids? I’m not really looking for anything specific, I’m open to filling different roles. I’m just curious about what kinds of options I have in general.

(It’s also entirely possible that I’m overthinking this.)
