It’s around 5 days so I’m going to post here. I don’t really expect anything to get done for days more so what does it hurt?
I posted ticket on 9/7. I don’t know why the ticket says 9/8. On 9/8 I got an email from Nick requesting my GW2 serial code, GW2 display name, and my GW1 account name. I emailed him all of that information except my GW1 account name because I haven’t even thought about that game in years. I didn’t even remember that I had a GW1 account until the game reminded me and I guessed.
That was the last I heard from anyone.

Hey! That mistfire wolf looks great and I think it would go well with my Norn ranger. Too bad my account got hacked and I haven’t been able to access the game since 9/7/12 or else I might happily give you money to upgrade my account.

Still hacked…I guess. I changed my password to something unique, but I still can’t log in. I got an email from Nick requesting more information. I passed that along. Still can’t log in.
New trailer looks nice though. I’m sure those people who are playing (because they haven’t been hacked yet) are really enjoying it.

Every time I buy an MMO on the week of launch, I get burned. I knew I should have waited. If I had, I would have logged in and saw all of the people sitting around waiting to have their perma bans lifted and realized that this game had serious security issues and none of the customer service to deal with it.

I changed my password on my own. Didn’t fix my perma ban. I was really enjoying this game. Now I just want to set it on fire and tell everyone I know to stay the hell away from it.

I just found out that I’ve been permanently banned without any explanation as to why I’m banned. I played the game earlier today with no problems, but now all of a sudden I’m banned until the end of the universe? I have never had any problems like this with any other MMO. I guess I’m comforted by the fact that I’m not alone. But, how about ArenaNet fixing the problem faster? I’m reading posts from people who say they haven’t used the product they paid for in days.
