There will be maintenance. this patch fixes all sorts of bugs and adds a ton of new permanent content as well as the Halloween stuff.

Could we maybe get an online/in game calendar with events such as this marked on?

World of Warcraft (may it rest in peace xD) had this and it was very helpful. Obviously most people know when Halloween is but it would be helpful. Thanks.

Arenanet have disabled BB and forum code on here… for unknown reasons… it sucks

Either your connection is juttery or the website was down? games allow for a short period of time when your connection cuts out for it to reconnect so you would not notice it there but it may be more prominent when browsing the web. However IMO it does not look like that… so …. who knows?
