Turrets appear to have an indiscriminate agro range, no concept of primary targets that I can discern.

Help finding a more active zone.

Are there any viable healing professions?

Every class has some healing abilities. It’s not the job of just a single class to heal anymore. Its a group effort for that, tanking and damage output.

I am asking for advice from other engineers. I leveled using turrets as often as I could (almost always). However now as I hit 80 and in any areas with dense monster populations I find they are next to useless and often get me killed.

For example, I was fighting a Veteran Risen near a skillpoint in the Straights. I had the veteran targeted and was backpedaling away while keeping it at a bit of range. I drop my Rifle, Rocket and Flamethrower Turrets, and none of them attack the veteran.. They all shot at something behind me adding a second monster to an already difficult fight.

When leveling I noticed issues issues, but didn’t think anything of them to start. If there happens to be a destroyed set of supplies, barrel, stationary gun in monster camps the turret will shoot at the invisible/no longer spawned object. Even if I am in combat and have something targeted when I summon them.

Is there any way to get some better control of these turrets or should I scrap them entirely and move into elixirs for boons instead?
