Played a tourney spvp match and both teams cannot leave out of the spvp match after it has already ended. Both teams are still stuck here and cannot go back to heart of the mists or another spvp room. If someone can please help that would be greatly appreciated!

I think the SBI WvW community decided a long time ago not to work directly with other servers to achieve a victory because it’s just cheesy and really doesn’t help the server grow.

^ This season is creating a lot of tryhards stooping down to the level of making new gw2 accounts to sabotage. I still enjoyed the fights from Ebay and Yak’s but without equal ground and being handicapped, can’t really say Yak’s has won.

Sure we lost, but we definitely didn’t get schooled. We lost by 50k against a previously T1 server. I would say that’s pretty good for us. We learned even more just by facing them. It’ll be interesting to see how we do again when we rematch them.

Great fights tonight! This week so far has been amazing. Although SBI this and SBI that discussions are getting old lol. Whether we hit gold or silver league it does not matter. We will do what we have to do. I just find it funny how everyone wants to see SBI get crushed. /chuckle.

Yes the SBI community is quite torn. The idea of fairweathers out in full force compounding for seven straight weeks sure is tempting. For the first time we get plenty of people to fight in NA prime, and for the first time in weeks there isn’t a queue on any map for most of the nights. Kinda lulzy but [TE] is enjoying the ability to map hop and fight where we want. This has been the best week in WvW in recent memory. [TW], [FEAR], [Choo], and others on SoR have been a blast to fight during NA prime, also shout out to [Rx] and [CNB] from SoS, I respect your tenacity in defense of SoS BL, it’s inspiring!

Shout out to all the other battle brothers on SBI who are gunning for gold with me and [TE}, kitten the score, who cares anyways. We’ll bore the off hour coverage of tier 1 into transferring off their servers, and come out to fight during NA.

Thanks for the shoutout, even if we’re stuck defending our garri most of the time haha. I don’t know why so many people are whining in this thread. This is the most fun I’ve had since Rx transfered to SoS. Good fights to SBI and SoR again today.

SBI mainly has points because FA is a shell that can’t defend anything even in NA prime.

That was pretty much the point I was trying to make in my above post. I roamed a lot in Mag and SBI BL this week. SBI was responsive to attacks from FA with fairly accurate numbers. 5 guys attacking a keep? Send 10 guys, problem solved. Mag on the other hand, 5 guys attacking a keep? Waypoint in 40 guys, while SBI ransacks FA BL and steals all the points.

When you send 40 guys to stop a havoc from poking at your towers and keeps, your being trolled. Camping FA border with 20+ to stop 5 guys who you think are trying to get out? Do you really think they are trying to get out or do you think they are bag trading with your to keep you militia tied up from doing more productive things?

Like I said, I applaud the valiant defensive effort but the strategy is flawed and it makes you look like a wannabe TC Jr.

I saw the stream of DDLG vs Ark. I will admit Mag has some very hardcore pvper’s and would have loved to see more of that if “SWAG” didn’t interrupt. Kudos to DDLG and Ark.

So all trash talk aside, my take on these 2 servers

Magumma: To be honest mag has some good blobbing guilds, had some good gvg’s and fights with VR and Ark (before they got interrupted) They also have some decent roamers in Aon even though you guys tend to run in groups far larger then a typical roaming group ( apart from Aon all the mag roaming guilds are terrible, just look at swag lolololol)

FA: Has by far the worst player skill per player of any server ive faced (and i think ive faced everyone but T1 at this point.) Just awful on every level, from large group to small man to solo. I dont think FA is tanking this matchup i just think there so terribad that when they cant zerg down another group 3 to 1 they just get crushed

I’m sure FA is at least more skilled then SF.

Solution:

1. Unhook the one-to-one link between PvE and WvW servers
   (required for #2)
2. Combine the low population WvW servers onto a smaller numbers of servers
3. Cap WvW server population at the highest WvW population
   (players cannot join or transfer to a full WvW server)
4. Make it free to join or transfer to a WvW server with below average population

This will result in fewer WvW servers but with more even and therefore more competitive populations.

I agree with what sniffycube explained as well as Zenguy. There has to be some kind of balance that is at least considered reasonable. I’m from KWBH as well and love to fight the fight in WvW. But dominating Yak’s and Kain this week, I have not set one foot in WvW this week. I fight in WvW for challenge and honestly i feel bad. When this game first released I was on Darkhaven which was the initial server [RE] was on. When I joined them they said that they were planning to move to another server to go on a bigger scale of wvw population. I left them and said I am sticking to Darkhaven. I don’t believe in hopping on those bandwagons. They need to have a cap on WvW population or at least the amount of people who can be on a server. Transferring to T1 or T2 does NOT mean you are the best. It just means you want to be carried to the top and share the glory of the “winners”. I love Guild Wars too much to leave but cmon. At least consolidate some of the lower pop servers to show more power diversity in WvW, as well as PVE.

This shall be a fun week indeed! I remember two weeks ago we had this matchup and was quite fun! SBI may blow you guys out this week but at least we respect you guys for going out there and staying true to the fight. Should be a better fight then when we faced Borlis Pass.

Also, earlier today found huge IOJ zerg (Think it was SE) and they clearly outnumbered us, and they chose to run and split. WHYYY??? lol you guys could have crushed us.

The leaders of BP can’t stop hating on SBI saying we mindless zergs and all this and honestly it’s stupid. If I was on Sorrow’s Furnace and faced Blackgate, yeh i would be irritated but I would still fight. They talk mad kitten about SBI and it’s like what do you expect from a wvw server? If they want a mindless zerg, we should have rushed with 50 necros then. And wwfam I’m not saying you. I have had awesome duels with people from BP but it sucks for the people that want to fight who suffer from the decisions of the server’s leaders.

Possibly one of the most boring match ups in a long time. There was nobody to fight, except for unorganized pugs. If we met a group with equal numbers, they would just run away into a keep behind arrow carts.
I will say that i quite enjoyed trying to take back our garrison from DR on Friday, and enjoyed all of the GvG’s going on. Cheers to all of you.
I hope the rest of BP will decide to actually play the game, instead of taking the easy path to a boring victory in silver league. I hope you guys have fun stomping the worst servers in the game.
