Ahh yes the lack of escapes, that will be a hastle when first learning to1v1 on necro I will have a nice repair bill but that’s how you learn right?

For 1v1 what’s weapon sets are best for conditions? And how about power? I Hear some people rant and rave about Necro D/D but is it really that good?

Sorry for so many separate questions but is condition damage all that reliable? I have only seriously run one condition spec and that was sword warrior, it worked great….. Until they took my bleeds off every 10 or so seconds.

I recently made a necromancer and have been enjoying leveling him thus far. I spend the majority of my time (when not leveling this alt) in WvW in guild groups and occasionally solo.

I have two concerns with my necromacer in regards to WvW, when i am with a group what is the best way to tag enemies?(apart from the obvious answer of staff)

Also can Necromacncer hold his own in 1v1s when against a competent player?
If so, how? what build? What tactics are key?

SAB was and is fun, I was sad when I passed all the stages. I love how it rewards you IF you like the skins and you enjoy the mini-game, I hope they don’t stop after 4 or whatever worlds but I understand Anet has other things to focus time and energy on. I could see how SAB may get old after several months, but that’s why it will become a once in a while mini-game if it is placed in the back corner of the closet.

This is just like the old costume brawl in GW1 or the Halloween instances that took place in the Underworld, I suspect this will be a traditional April fools Mini-Game, which is a good thing because it will keep the spark alive every time you collect those bubble baubles for years to come.

Also if you don’t like SAB its simple, just don’t play it!

Very good, I too played dual swords in Wvw and they’re pretty good though I feel that normal zerker gear is much better.
My autos crit for 2k 2k 4k which is nice burst on top of the bleeds (67 ticks instead of 110).
Plus it allows me to swap to GS for rush/WA or Flurry+HB.

I’d like to see more sword Warriors in PvP, it’s much better than what people think.

Please oh please share your spec with me.

Kaineng will get destroyed in T2 when you hit T3 and above you run into players who are actually competitive. Kaineng will turn out just like Maguuma

I can't decide! MH sword or axe?

I’m in the same boat as the OP, I love the sword for the leap and synergy with leg specialist. When it comes to damage it’s lacking compared to MH axe, since it depends on the use of bleeds.
I’ve always been an axe guy but lately I’ve just been loving the leap, the only reason I haven’t fallen head over heals for sword is because I can’t duel in 1 v 1s successfully like I can with the axe. Maybe I need more practice or its just not my play style, but axe just mows kids down where sword just gives them a few paper cuts.

Ruby orbs are the way to go if you want the 12% crit damage without the hefty price carried along with divinity runes, or beryl If you prefer a little extra hp. I would also suggest runes of the pack, power precision and an extra 20% swiftness duration is nice for us slow guardians
