Violation or not, it’s still a pretty sad day in the history of humanity when we want to sell something for profit whose sole point was to bring people together, become friends, socialize and play some games together… This isn’t a corporation… your guildmates are your friends… and if all that they’re worth to you is the highest gold bid on an addiction, then you’re a terrible leader that doesn’t deserve a guild our any benefits that come from being in one…

While I can see your point, that is quite a bit harsh.

@OP, you might want to put a bit more description into your question to avoid future responses like above.

Something like: personal bank guild with X benefits unlocked

Would be more helpful in getting proper responses.

I don’t think there is anything immoral about selling personal guilds nor guilds that are being changed (i.e. merging with another one and disbanding the former).

I appreciate the suggestion, however. I don’t believe in anyway my question warranted such a bitter response. The rant is based on nothing, but imagination and honestly his ignorance made me smile today ;]

eXs. Is that really your first assumption and only “hypothesis” as to why I’m selling MY guild that I created? Well, you know what they say, ignorance is bliss.

When I am not at work or with my 3 children. Times are random but mostly on for long hours. Most days I am on all day.

Characters:
lvl 80 Necromancer: Full exotics or better.(main)
lvl 80 Guardian: Full exotics or better.
lvl 80 Thief: Full exotics or better.(Commander)
lvl 37 Warrior: Currently leveling.
lvl 30 Mesmer: meh

Experience:
I’ve been playing since beta. Have a strong knowledge of game mechanics. I have been through every dungeon (note: not all paths of every one). I am mostly experienced with AC, CoF, Arah path 2 & 3. I am up to fractals lvl 11 with my guardian(10 Agony resist). I have recently returned to the game after a few months of taking a break (previous guild drama). I am still catching up on some changes Anet has made.

I love all forms of PvP. Spent a large portion of my time in WvWvW and my gold…. I do not enjoy zerg mind set. If it’s not organized I wont be interested.

Additional info:
I have Teamspeak 3, Mumble and Ventrillo. Working headset w/ mic. I am a pretty easy going guy. I simply like to hang out and enjoy myself. I am by no means an elitist, but I thrive for organization and team play.

What I am looking for.
A Large, experienced and active PvX guild. Preferably around my age group and with All guild Upgrades/unlocks (or close to it).

Please do not sent me invites in game. I will reject them immediately. If you are interested in having me in you’re guild please respond with any questions you may have for me here on the thread along with Guild name plus ticker, number of active members, current level of upgrades and any additional information you deem relevant.

My question is. If I wanted to sell my guild for gold, am I able to do so? Or is it a violation of any rules? I lurked around and could not find any information on this.
