Guild Wars 2

If I’m in a squad/group or whatever with someone who has the dreamer I’ll usually leave. It’s annoying as hell.

Exact same problem here. This is from when I hit play on the launcher to when the game actually comes up. It takes about 45 seconds. My pc boots faster. I have an older pc with older cpu and gpu, it loads gw2 much faster. Here are my specs and troubleshooting steps.

-i7 5960x, titan xp, intel ssd, 32gb ram
-Fresh win 10 pro install
-gw2 64bit tried
-gw2.exe -32 tried
-gw2.exe -repair
-dat file deleted and redownloaded
-all gw2 files deleted and reinstalled
-Anti-virus uninstalled
-Gaming peripheral software uninstalled
-Multiple Nvidia driver versions attempted up to 373.06 which is running on the other pc that has no startup problems.

So… yeah. I dunno. At least the game works fine when it loads.

Are you able to reconnect right away? I’ve been getting disconnected and I’m unable to reconnect. A tracert to the servers shows problems with a backbone provider telia.net. They’re losing packets. Lots of complaints over the years from different games about them.

Why does telia.net suck so bad? The past two days I haven’t been able to login. Using Winmtr points to telia.net losing packets. Over 50% loss going through these stupid servers. Doing a google search brings up a ton of forums posts/complaints about telia across numerous games. Shoot them already.
