Guild Wars 2

I’m having an awfully difficult time actually finding the current meta for necro roaming. Searching the forums here is practically useless, and searching via google turns up mostly old outdated builds that may still work but I have no idea because of patches/etc.

So…what would you currently recommend for WvW roaming? I’ve heard terrormancer is still good but I honestly can’t find an up to date build out for it.

Hey all, first thanks for any input.

I played for a while back before my semester got crazy, but only for about a month. I made it to level 42, so I’ve never even really had a chance to do much dungeoning.

Anyway, I want to come back and play more now, but I found after logging in and playing for just a little while that I find my own character really ridiculously boring. I’m currently a d/d condition build, and combat mostly consists of spamming death blossom and evading to drop caltrops. It’s not very exciting.

I’m thinking of trying to respec into something else to see if I find it more fun. My primary interest is in WvW so I want whatever build I run to be viable for that, but I am still leveling so I also need something that’ll work in PvP.

It seems like there’s a lot of love for P/D and D/P right now, but I’m having trouble finding info on how such a spec would work and what the primary stats for it would be.

Any advice? Much appreciated!

Question for those saying D/P is the best way to go for WvW...

What’s considered the best build for it right now?

I’m kind of a noob and I haven’t played in a while in any case, and I’m looking to refine my build since I’ll be playing more this summer. I’ve looking for a good source of what’s considered good builds but the info is kind of sketchy in most cases, and I’m not sure what’s considered the best approach.

Right now I’m d/d cond and it is both boring and non-optimal for WvW.
