Guild Wars 2

Hello there,

Yesterday I was playing Guild Wars 2 then all of a sudden I was kicked and can no longer log in. I am not sure why this has happened, or what I need to do too fix it.

What I was doing:

I was on my level 47 Ranger in WvW (World vs World), I had to go AFK as we had visitors. WHen I returned I had been kicked for inactivity. After which, I tried to play again but it did not last very long, it kicked me again while I was playing; Not too the character selection, straight too my desktop. I tried logging in again and received a login error.

Error: “The game client lost its connection to the server. Please wait a few minutes before restarting the client and trying again.”
Error Code: 7:1000:7006:836

yes it does suck, at this time I just play on 1080p Res, and Lowest settings. I play it for the game, the graphics is great If I switch too high, but I’d rather be able too play it how I want – nice and smooth – rather than jumpy when in wvw or large scale combats

Use too happen too me as well. Sadly, I cannot remember how I got around the problem. Sorry. Hope someone has a solution for you soon, or you find it out for yourself. Good Luck.

So I have been playing Gw2 for a week or so now, and I love it. Recently, when I have tried too log in I have been stalled with a black screen. I am not sure why this is happening, or what to do too resolve it.

The game usually runs perfectly, with a few minor hitches that I am yet to find a solution for.

Other Problem: I have too launch the client a few times in order too connect. Usually it errors, but every so often on the off chance I get too play. Is there any fix for this? I am running w7 x64, i7 Processor, 8 gb ram, and a nvid 530 video card. Everything is up too date, and everything else I play or use (including other MMO games) work perfectly.

Let me know if you have a solution for either problem.

You can change the size under Video Settings. But I’ve found that when doing that the font gets all messed up.

I agree. Go for an upgrade. As a bonus with upgrading, its an upgrade – Everyone loves buying new stuff for their gaming needs, even if they can’t afford it

Ok, so When I launch the game it can sometimes error on me, and sometimes it wont. this is from the main Gw2.exe. If I get too the login part of it, it will do the same thing sometimes. It will launch the game, I get a black screen, my second monitor will flicker sometimes and then it’ll error the same as if I was just launching it.

As I said, this only sometimes occurs, I have had success on and off when playing – Im level 15, the game is great. This is my only problem with it.

Please let me know if you have a similar issue, and ho you resolved it (if you have).
