Guild Wars 2

Ok so I know this might seem trivial to some but I felt like this was note worthy. I was having issues with my account because the old email I used hasn’t been logged into in ages and so I couldn’t get there if I need to do network authentication. So I sent in a ticket to support and told them the email I needed it changed to, And no joke it was proccessed and taken care of within 5 minutes. I’m just a bit taken back by the sheer speed they had in handling this for me so big props to GW2 support on this one.

I love all, the little and not so little nods to gw1 and the rich lore it had. It was a great start and i can’t wait to see more.

It’s a sad day when it should be a joyous occasion being that the mad king has returned. I Re-Logged excitedly for the halloween events ready for some Ghosts and Villagers. And since I missed the phantom mask last year I was thinking about exchanging some gold for gems and finally having it, But what do I find? They took the old way of exchanging gems and now we are forced to exchange gems in increments of 400…so rather then dropping 23 gold or so we have to pay roughly between 70-75 gold. Having set amounts on the exchange is very rigid and unwanted. It feels like Anet is becoming just another typical nickle and dime mmo and they’ve strayed away from what made it so great in the beginning. On a side note perhaps if they had spent the time creating new story content that they did creating this botched exchanged the game would be better and not be dieing a slow death.

What a pathetic change, now if there is an item we want for say 200-300 gems, before we could just exchange for that amount give or take a gem. Now however we can only exchange in 400 gem increments… Really Anet? this is how you reward those of us that have been devoted to your game for this long and haven’t given up on you?
It’s like Anet has become a run of the mill mmo that nickle and dimes it’s player base for petty cash. I’m starting to find fewer reasons to stay in this game now days and it’s really sad what they have turned it into.

Ah yea that’s probably it then because I’m usually using ventrillo at the same time or skype. I guess for GW2 i’ll just have to turn surround off.

I’ve been having an issue ever since I got this headset, for some reason only in guild wars 2 it makes this strange fluttering sound in the character select screen and also at ransom points while playing. Does anyone know what causes this or perhaps a fix for it?

Man you are a life saver I had issues with the same headset making these odd fluttering sounds and I did what you said and now they work like a charm <3

As I’m sure we all are aware there has been a lot of issues with the guesting feature. Some don’t care, Others are outraged and then there are those like me that see a simple solution. In my opinion the issue is easily fixed rather then limit the rare items one gets from chests to one a day per account you can simply prioritize the server for instance if a region if full and a Server native is trying to get into it that Native should be given priority since it is their home server and the Guest(s) should be moved to overflow. Also the group event timers should be synced up in overflow with those in the regular region. I’m sure there are other details that could be addressed in this subject but I think this would pretty much solve the issue for the most part.

Hmm so i got JC up to 25 and it doesn’t have any jewel recipe in there. What level do I have to get it to for crafting jewels exctly?

What recipe would you recommend for the JC that is masterwork at a lower level of it? (assuming there are any lol)

Hi I’m trying to finish my monthly and I’m stuck on the Masterwork Crafting one. I only have cooking and I can’t find a recipe that makes Masterwork food anywhere. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
