I really love the Sylvari, everything about them is amazing, which is why I was wondering if there was any Sea of Sorrows based Sylvari Guilds…. If there are i’d like to join. If there aren’t, I’d love to see how many people are keen

Worst thing I’ve heard from my sylvari female is her auto attack with scepter earth attunement. MASSIVE scary groan every 4 seconds.

I like that people are again complaining about the mechanics of the elemtalist.
I like the cosmetic idea…. Though some people like having the one colour, works best with their armour… Perhaps it could be worked into a signet, that gives you a 5 second boost for swapping attunements or something.
Cool idea

Isn’t there a setting that allows an auto loot pickup? I thought I saw one when i was tooling around through the settings.

I enjoy being able to switch attunements, it makes me more versatile, and allows me to get the most out of my fight.
I’m not saying i’m pro for being able to freely interact with the four attunements situationally, But it does allow me to be a lot more useful in a fight.
When i’m facing a charging enemy, i’m able to chill them & cripple them, whilst swapping between fire and air to dish out some pretty decent damage.
If they remade the class to be able to suit a two attunement playstyle, believe me, there’d be a lot more forum topics titled ’ We need weapon swap sets’. I don’t find I need weapon swap sets, because the four attunements together give me the ability to control my opponent

Not able to quote for some reason, but i’d like to reply to something Rack said in his post.
I totally agree with the earth utility, and I do not stay in water attunement for long. I switch to it, pop my AoE (I use D/D, so that’s my 3) for a chilled, 4 for my frost shield, and 5 for my healing ability. Then i go to earth for it’s defence. I also get the healing mists for 9 seconds for being in water.
Elementalists have Survivability – You just need to work your kitten off for it.

this thread is funny as all get out you must love being in a constant downed state with abilities that do nothing and spending TONS of gold to fix your items every second. Ele is ruined for me I loved it is GW1 but they screwed us hard core in GW2
I rarely properly ‘Die’ to the point that my items need to be repaired…. When i start to drop health, I switch to my ice attunement and heal myself, or use some of my skills.
Elementalist is challenging. But the abilities certainly do damage. I think they raised the skillcap ball in Guild Wars 2.

They’re not all evil, but some of them have been truly deeply corrupted beyond all sense and honor. The stag personal story you brought up is supposed to represent that the core idea behind the Nightmare Court isn’t truly evil, itself. It’s primarily their methods that are evil.
One has to ask though, if a groups methods for obtaining their goals are ultimately evil, does that not make the group themselves evil? It’s not just about their ultimate Goal, and their ideology. If exterminating all who conflict with their final plan is part of their ideology, does that not, in fact, make them evil?

I have to say, i’m the same, and i haven’t finished leveling mine yet…
I started out with an Asuran thief… which was fine, I was the tiny kneecapper of death.
But the elementalist is just so… Fun. You’ve got to be on the edge of your seat for every fight. I also use double daggers, and I just love the combat system. It’s really challenging.
