Ok! Cool! Thanks everybody!
I’m trying achievement like “distorted reflection”
So to have the achievement i have to do it with my first toon who did the chapter?
Hi everybody! I don’t know if it’s a bug, but i don’t receive any credits for any achievement i do in the living world season 2 storyline. Am I the only one?
May I add to the list? It would be nice if players that dies wouldn’t get stuck the little ceil upstairs and do nothing for 15 min while the others continue to play. They should stay down to give the opportunity to the rest of the party to rez them.
Yes! I’m talking about that point where you don’t have enough mastery point to get to the next mastery. When you hit that ceiling, where goes the experience you earn? in the clouds? When the achievements you need to get more mastery points are so far of reach, that you won’t get there for christmas for sure. =) You’re basically stuck!
My solution: The mastery points should work like the old skill points worked. You know, each time you were filling your experience bar beyond level 80, you got a skill point. It should be the same with Mastery points, every time you would fill up your xp bar, you would get one more mastery point. This way… nobody would get stuck at a ceiling where your experience points goes out in the cloud, and A-net would be able to add new masteries easily, even at each new chapter if they want to. Nothing would be wasted, everything would be relevant. =)
Thanks for reading everybody! =)
I never played season 1
Ok, i was a bit kittened off earlier, so i didn’t expressed myself correctly. What i meant is that i find this part (Chapter 8: City of Hope; the trial of strength specifically) too hard for the casual player. Hey, i’m experienced, I’ve played many MMOs, i’ve been playing this game since it started, i know what i’m doing, I know when to use range or melee, but i always struggle with this part. So I put myself in the shoes of my friend (and any player with her level of experience) and it’s become really hard and it takes the fun away. It’s a game it’s suppose to be fun… it’s not supposed to be a chore.
P.S. i finally succeeded an hour ago after taking 3 deep breath. and i didn’t have to change my traits so your argument of trait doesn’t stand. I still stand by my opinion.
How many times Am I supposed to do it before I get it right? having to restart 20 times to get the right combinaison of trait and skills and utility and weapon that is what i find really boring and no fun at all!
Yes! This part is too hard in my opinion. I’m an experienced player, and i’m telling you, it’s not fun. Just imagine my guildie, she wouldn’t have fun.
Totally agree!
There are games that are too easy and there are games that are too hard. Either extreme make me loose interest quickly.
HoT is TOO HARD! it feel like a chore. For instance, the chapter 8 city of hope is TOO HARD (remove healing skills, and every combat becomes difficult, is so stupid!). It make me want to quit the game. It discourage me to replay HoT because of that stupid unoriginal part, because for the 2nd time I’m stuck at this part again. Where is the casual play you we’re talking about? If a part is TOO HARD and I have to restart over and over and over again because I just keep dying, it’s not fun anymore.
I have a guild member who doesn’t even have unlocked the gliding mastery yet, because she’s a casual player who just want to have fun and relax. What is fun and relaxing when you die every 2 sec? She has absolutely no fun going in the jungle, which is sad because gliding is one of the best feature of HoT.
So overall it’s not a fun expansion, it’s more of a pain in the kitten ., that’s what it is.
Hi everybody!
I just wanted to point out something about the user interface and what game director just said on the announcement earlier today.
He spoke about not looking at a bunch of health bar during a combat but really looking at the combat and where is everybody positioned, but still, there is no option available to disable the tool-tips in the skill bar. That’s really annoying in a combat, because it hides the combat that we are supposed to watch.
I’ve already posted about this in other threads and it would be awesome if you could add that feature.
Thank you for reading!
Hi everybody!
I just thought about something that could be fun for the upcoming expansion. It would be nice if some guild hall available have a lake or a beach of some sort with a high cliff with diving goggles. It would feel like being on vacation.
Thanks for reading! =)
Hi everybody!
Since this is a major update with an expansion, it would be greatly appreciated if you could add an option to disable the tooltips in the skill bar. I just can’t believe that a MMO like GW2 who claims to revolutionize the MMO genre does not have a simple basic feature like that, it should have been in from the beginning. Even in GW1 there is the option for that. Please pretty please, will we be able to disable the tooltips in the skill bars?
Thank you all!
