Guild Wars 2

Hey guys! I just bought GW2 last week and am super excited to dive into the game… although I’m totally clueless. I’ve never played an MMO before! However, I’m seeking a somewhat social experience and I have been told that guilds are a great place to begin looking.

As I mentioned, I honestly have no idea what I am doing so don’t know what information is relevant and should be included in this post. But a little about me: I’m a 22 year old student, delving into my senior year of college. I’m majoring in English/Creative Writing (god knows what I’ll do with that degree) but right now I’m just focusing on getting my diploma. I live in New York (EST) and I’m a hermit who much rather retreat into the recesses of an MMO than unwind at a bar. I like to think I’m fun… but in reality, I’m a total dork. In fact, I can’t even come up with a fun fact about myself, haha. Anyway… I am super excited to start playing GW2 and would like to find some friendly people to play with me (or even just show me the ropes). I’m not sure how guilds work— but it would be awesome to play with people around my age and/or location. I’m on the Anvil Rock (NA) server
