Gem purchase fail

I cannot purchase a gem in Black Lion via credit card or paypal. It say that “Unfortunately, an error occur please try again later”. I have done some research but not found anything helpful.

I have open a ticket but they have not answered me yet. Anyone has a solution for this problem ?

P.S. I’m sure my card for valid.

And for someone who don’t know. the last file size is less than 100 mb or around that.
If the client download go more than 150-200 mb or 500+ for sure then the problem still remain.

Sorry to hear that.This method is very specific case because in my country many of this ISP’s users face the same problem with this patch and this solution solve thier problem perfectly. So I think maybe another ISP in another country will have troble with this patch too and this solution is can help them.

And about kaspersky report about network attack. I think it is usual thing becoz the program will try to make change of your IP so maybe kaspersky consider it is a network treats.

Anyway, the 99% problem can be occur by many of reason that why some solution work with only someone and some patch. And I think the one who know the best what is happening behind the scene of updating process is Areanet’s programmer team.

If you have try all solution and the problem still remain,maybe you should try to -log the data when luach the client and sent it to Areanet’s support so they can determine what is going on with your case (if they ever read the mail). Or you can try searching around gw2 social network group like facebook page of your country for more sprcific solution ( I’ve found the solution thus way too)

And the last and most effective solution is find someone(maybe your friend) who already patched succes fully and copy thier gw2.dat file to replace yours,. This will definitely solve the problem(at least this patch)

[Problem Solved]
Hey guys, I have faced the same problem after searching for the solutions for a day and try it all (change languages, reinstall , close the firewall ,-arvst ,-repair , run as admin) and nothing can slove the problem

Finally I have found the clue that , it is your ISP problem is solution is
1. Change the ip the your ISP give you. For me, at first my IP is 17X.XXX….. (you can look for your ip at )

2.After that your can call your ISP to make change of your IP ,but for me I use OpenVPN to temporary change your IP

2.1 OpenVPN link :http://openvpn.net/index.php/download/community-downloads.html

2.2 Then install it and download the vpn file from this website : http://www.vpngate.net/en/

2.3 After you have choosen the file(for me I choose the South Korea one) put that file in config folder of OpenVPN

2.4 double click (Run as admin) OpenVPN it will try to connect and change your IP wait until the OpenVPN icon in task remain green and check with findmyip.org again weather your IP have been changed or not.

2.5 run guildwar2 launcher again to download the 1 remaining file.

2.6 Enjoy the game
