Looks like he had to rename 32 different characters.
First of all, I must congratulate your dedication (and $$$ spent on character slots) to this game. You must be quite the roleplayer to have all those names. It’s a shame it took 30 months for anet to ban all those names in one self righteous blow.
I have read through the naming policies a few times and don’t see locations being mentioned.
I also don’t see how location names could attempt to deceive players either.
In the end though, we all signed our characters’ lives away when we check that little “I Agree” box.
In the real world, common sense usually prevails. But in Tyria (ironically your banned name) bizarre possibilities and faint accusations of possible evil doing reign supreme.

We’ve had it along with you guys ever since the silverwastes and the new LS came out. Red BL is unplayable for a solid 1/2 of guildies, the rubber band is real. Had a fab fight with ZoS where the slideshow lag was just unreal.

Yeah we were having trouble all night with DCs and lag. Good fights though.

Why are they not shown anymore? What is the point of even having a rank if nobody will ever see it other than through a finisher?

Also, if we are going to be receiving rewards that people will store in their bank (tomes of knowledge etc..) maybe there should be a bank in heart of the mists.

Other than that I am enjoying pvp as of late.

Since the update has anyone noticed that the first day the drops were good and now they arn’t?
My guild has about 15 people that do 49s daily.
The first day after patch 2 groups had 1 armor drop in each and mine had 3 armor boxes drop.
Since then only 1 or 2 armor boxes have dropped and we have all been running 49s everyday.
Was the drop rate too high and has since been nerfed?

I will say the update has us running 49s more often, we started running 37s and 20s because the weapon box drop rate seemed to match that of a 49 and took a lot less time.

Anyone that has heard about this rumor has probably seen the video from months ago. Some guy made a video showing his dreamer with really long tassels, many people have tried to replicate it by getting a lot of kills. I believe it is actually related more to experience then kills.
I spent a few hours in the NSP borderlands just retaking towers and camps when i noticed they seemed longer.
Here are a 2 photos taken about 45 minutes apart comparing them to the Dreamer preview option.

This is just my opinion, and i’m sure a lot of other dreamer owners may have been wondering if this is true or not as well.

I FINALLY FIXED IT

Ok so I played with my firewall settings on windows 7. Nothing. I Uninstalled GW2 and tried to reinstall. I got a new error about my internet connection.
So I went into Norton Security Suite and that was where the problem was.

Attached is the setting I had to change.

I am having the same problem. (as of last night when the update came out)
I was kicked out of WvW and sent to LA, when the announcement came I would be kicked in 3 minutes I logged out to install it. After it was almost completed I received an error message “Connection error(s) detected, Retrying…”

I did a system restore to 3 days ago and it let me do the update again and then the same error.

Although GW2 works on my brothers computer which uses the same internet connection.

I was a little late. I set Christmas as the day I would finish the dreamer. This morning I was about 60k karma short so I grinded events on and off all day with boosters. At 5am i finished and had to sell everything I owned (mats, ectos, Halloween skins) to buy the lover. Finally finished.

Well I’m glad it’s not just me, should prob be up soon.
