Hi

You dont mention if you are EU or US. If EU, give me a whisper/mail ingame. We have open raids every thursday. How well it go depends abit. But generally 3-5 kills is the norm. If you have the interest we also generally raid other days, but with abit more asked about skill/exp.
We also do escort on sundays as a open/all welcome.

I’m on US. Been trying all night to find a raiding guild that would allow another chrono into their folds.

I wanted map completion and I don’t like any other class. =3=

Ive leveled 6 mesmers. I did them all different ways. My advise would be to go full power gear. Really easy to just shatter on everything.

For skills its hiw you want to play. The three skills I used primarily were Blink, Decoy and Mantra of Pain.

Traits for leveling for me are Chaos, Dueling and Inspiration. Good dammage, good sustain.

Im getting back into the game after a long leave of absence. I REALLY wanted to get into raiding because it looked rather exciting and its an aspect of the game I had not gotten into before.

So I joined a few guilds who “Promised” me a slot in their raiding nights. All I have to offer is a Chrono, full equiped for Rading, PS Condi warrior and the possibility of other slots once I convert all my ascended over.

I talk to each guild on their respective nights and its either one of two situation.

Situation 1: The guild has stopped raiding to fully focus on getting ready for the PoF expansion launch.

With this situation I almost understand it. Spending more personal time to tie up loose odds and end and get your main ready to take on the shifting sands. But why stop raiding? Its a good gold income, great way of getting ascended and if you can complete them every time there is no reason to stop doing them once a week.

Situation 2: The “Promised” slot I was given, was not given.

The second guild I joined said that I would be given a slot in their Raiding group. This was told to me by the guild leader himself. So I showed up on raid night, in front of the portal like I was told. All my guildies are there. Waiting. Then they all vanish, I was confused and wondered if they crashed? Checked the guild roster and they were in the raid and had already started.

At this point I was confused and a little angry, I was “Promised” a slot but not given one? Whats up? I confront the guild leader about this and he tells me that the slot was taken by another Chrono and that if I wanted the promised slot I would need to gear a healing Ranger. So I did. Still no slot. Gear another toon. Still no slot. Now im back on my main, my mesmer, and again still no slot. At this point im angry because I was essentially lied to and im raidless.

In the end I really just want to Raid. I have done extensive research into what I need to do. Have full ascended and have played Mesmer 4-5 years. What else do I need to do to get into a raiding group?

Lfg has not worked for me. I sit in it for hours, no one ever picks me up. Not even a whisper. How do I get started into Raiding?

As per the builds I saw I really like sticking with the toughness that I have, although I will take into consideration the suggestions. I know the group I run with has a bit of a tougher toughness then most, but we will work with it.

So as you could tell, im looking at playing mesmer in raids, as ive been playing mesmer for 3 years now. Ive made a build from what ive seen floating around here and there. I like it, its been working for me pretty well.

I just wanted to see what you guys thought about it, see how it is, possibly a bit of discussion. I know mesmer has never had high DPS but it does play a good bunker role from what ive seen.

Thanks for that clarification, I don’t always know how you guys do things per say and all and I was just wondering exactly. I just kinda figured that since it had been brought up before there might be some sort of statement from it. So what I’m getting is layovers is okay, as long as it’s not giving you an unfair advantage but to always be cautious as we don’t know always what is actually going on. Again thanks!

Hey, so a couple of my guild wars 2 buddies were talking about this mod thing for the game and how it was so cool. They gave me a link to a youtube video, which I am unable to posy right now but I will get it in a later post, and in the video it was like this full action combat mod. I was also told that arena net had given the green light on this mod to be used with the game. I was hoping a person from a net could possibly answer my question, is it okay? It sounds fun but I don’t want to be blocked from playing the game !!

The meta for ele is 0/2/0/6/6 zerker/cele hybrid ele in WvW, You can spec into damage with your gear, and still support your allies.

Eles are the heart of sustain in WvW combat, so it’s important that you spec into water for cleansing water. You will still deal damage – as your power can sit around 22-2300, more with food. Most eles like to get Evasive Arcana (blast finisher on earth dodge-roll), but it’s not crucial for your allies the way the water tree is. The Water tree will also help you sustain more – which is what you should focus on as an ele.

I was just curious on the mix you meant, I have the means for getting cele gear and what not, but did you mean Zerk armor and Cele trink or vise versa? I really would LOVE to try Cele ele honestly but I dont know what to mix it with for best damage/support.

Hey! So im coming from a mesmer main since launch of the game and now im getting really hard into Staff ele in Pve/p and WvWvW. I need help for a little bit. I have a full zerk staff ele right now running 6/2/2/2/2 dps. Is that good? Should I switch?

So I recently made Meteo…and on the name portion when you hover over it it says in small gray letter (Lightning) what are that? I just am super curios as yo why thats there haha

If you’re looking for Phantasm DPS, I’d recommend going 2(III)/4(II, IV)/0/5(I,VIII)/3(III).

Drop the mantras and free up some utility slots for other skills.

Pick up Phantasmal Fury, Compounding Power, and Illusionist’s Celerity to pump out more DPS.

I wasnt really going for direct phantasm DPS really but having those in there really helps as they hit pretty freaking hard. I noticed that the mantras fave you 4% more power for mantra. So…thats like 12% more power? Thats kind of a lot. But I will try out what you said and see how it goes. Only problem with that is with certain fights, they dont usually stay out that long because the get hit and are essentially done. But thanks!

So I have been working on a DPS mesmer build for a while now. I primarily like to use Sword/Sword Sword/Focus because of both of the phantasms that you get from each. Both doing amazing damage. I try to steer away from the Greatsword because in dungeons you stack so often, that in the end your too close for it to do that much damage, in my opinion, and the build I am doing is supposed to not really be traited for any weapon except the sword so you can use whatever you want with this build I have.

With the runes or whatever in this build you can use the ones I give on your armour or you can use what I do and just do pure zerker with ruby in them.

So I am looking for a guild! I am currently apart of one that is active but am feeling a bit out of place. I am 18, live on the western united states and am gay. So please be friendly about that sort of thing. I am currently playing on devonas rest and am maining a mesmer.

I just need more people in the guild who are available with leveling and active and fun.
