Has anyone also experienced that when you use action camera mode and use impossible odds, that when you hold down mouse 1 to use sword 1 it doesn’t benefit the 50% atk speed? but if you spam mouse 1 or if you simply press 1 to auto use sword 1 it does benefit.

A week before HoT launch, I’ve been doing pvp to save up tomes. I managed to grind out a full set of armor and weapons for my revenant using the crucible of eternity reward track which was in rotation at the time. I deposited the armor and the weapons in my bank for my revenant to get when he’d be 80 on launch.

When I reached the bank, I noticed that all 6 armor pieces became soulbound to my guardian meanwhile the weapons were not. If i’m not mistaken, all of these items were soulbound on use before the patch. My guardian couldn’t have used them since he’s still level 60 and the gear was level 80. If it’s because that he was the one who opened the boxes to get the dungeon gear, he didn’t, I was repeating the track using different characters (elementalist, ranger, warrior, engineer) but did my last track completion on him. Yet the gear is bound to him.
and if it’s really soulbound on acquire then how come the weapons aren’t soulbound?
My apologies if this is simply a mistake and I just overlooked state of the armors. I guess I’ll settle for Karma armor if I’m mistaken.

Could it be that there are still traces of my old system specs because i just copied my gw2 folder from my old drive, from my old rig, into my new one? maybe this is the problem. Do i need to reinstall gw2?

I recently bought a new rig and have been crashing while playing GW2 on it. I was so excited to play since i could go fine on all the high settings with my new rig, but then problems came. When me and my friends transferred my files to my new drive and tested out GW2, everything was doing fine. The next day when i wanted to play for hours, i made a new Charr and then decided to go around the black citadel. All of a sudden, screen turned grey and all i could hear, from my headphones, was a continuous buzzing sound. My pc would then freeze and need a restart everytime this happens. The freezes happen randomly and not in wvw or events. I’ve been looking for a fix but have yet to find one. There are times where i could play longer than other instances, but there are also times when the crash is instant. Drivers are up to date and no its not an overheating issue, temps at max on my card is @ 50C.

CPU – i5 3570k
Mobo – asrockz77 extreme4
Ram – 8gb
PSU – strike -x 600w

- CPU: Intel i5 3570K
- Mainboard: Asrok Z77 Extreme 4
- RAM: Kingston HyperX 8GB DDR3 Dual
- GPU: Palit GTX 660 Ti Jetsream
- SSD: Samsung 830 SSD 120GB
- OS: Windows 7 x64

Guild Wars 2 just keeps freezing my whole PC solid!
Sometimes it happens just after character-selection,
sometimes after a few minutes.
95% of the time, my monitor throws me a white screen an the sound keeps looping to a buzzing noise. If I am lucky, the monitor just doesn’t get a signal for a few seconds and restores with GW2 completely reloading all the objects/textures in game with really really low FPS. But it will still crash a few moments later unless i alt-tab an terminate GW2 quickly.

As an IT-Expert, you can bet i tried every darn thing possible.. (Clock settings, GPU Settings, Drivers, changed Hardware, yelling at my pc, etc..)

This only happens with GW2!

Other games, like Assassins Creed 3 or Skyrim HD work like a charm for hours and hours!

I even stress-tested my PC for hours:
- Memtest86 = no errors after 6 hours(!)..
- Prime95 = no errors…
- Furmark = no errors…
- 3dMark11 = no errors…
- OCCT = no errors…
- I even had all the above running simultaneously where possible = NO ERROR! NONE!

My Conclusion: GW2 HAS a nasty bug which could cause my hardware to die from all those freezes and Hard-Resets.

I won’t play anymore until there is a solution!

We have very similar specs, just bought a new computer of my own and i’m having the same issues..
