Hi!

I’ve got some questions about the computer performance at guildwars 2. I got a Macbook pro 13’’ retina mid 2014 (i5 dual-core 2.8Ghz boost to 3.3Ghz, 8gb ram, 500gb SSD) and using an GTX 960 as eGPU in bootcamp windows 8.1 (don’t ask just deal with it).

I’ve read a lot about the GW2 performance and noticed you need a strong CPU for good FPS in-game. At medium/high settings i get about 60-70 fps standing still in lion arch.

If i wan’t to increase the FPS, will a GTX 970 make a really big difference or is it my CPU that lacks of power? Can even take GTX 980 or a GTX Titan card for example.
