Guild Wars 2

Hey, I got a few questions.
I quitted playing since sepember because I heard there was no endgame, I was demotivated and quitted playing.

So here some questions.

1. Is there still no endgame, or is this game changed alot?
2. Is there new content? New weapons/abilities, what did I missed? :P
3. I Literally can’t choose between all those classes, I have a class-choosing problem, but I was leaning to thief, mesmer, necro, engineer or guardian, and am planning to go both PvE and PvP, help me : (

Well. I dont know much about mmorpg’s, because this is my first 1. But how are mesmers in overall? PvE, PvP, dungeons etc. And how good are Necro’s / Ele’s in PvP / PvE?

I am lvl 10 or so, but in PvP I use like 30 – 30 – 0 – 0 – 0 – 10. So it’s full glass cannon. Also, I use dual daggers+dual pistol, since thats like the best thief build atm.

Thanks, that helped me alot already lol. Yea all professions can do all things, and this game is kinda balanced. But all professions have their ups and downs and each profession can be helpful but thats situational. In what situations do mesmers and necromancers excel? Thiefs in small groups/solo’ing/duoing. Elementalists in big fights / supportive. But mesmers and necromancers?

Since I’m called an altoholic, since I love testing all characters before maining a character. I am really doubting about which profession I should choose. I am really doubting between Thief, Necromancer or a Mesmer ( or maybe even the elementalist ). But people told me, to choose mesmer, ele or necro since they’re a lot more competitive and more versatile/flexible than Thiefs. People told me that thiefs are overall weak and can only compete in sPvP. Now is the question, is this true? Like is it worth it to main a elementalist, necromancer or mesmer over a thief in terms of utility and overall?
