Great initiative!
Regarding the participation of not-so-pro players, Sindrener talked about a Team-Captain approach. Former Pro League players each take 4 semi-pro members into their teams, scrimming with them before the tournament and teaching them the depths of structured pvp as far as possible.

With the end of the ESL era and most of the SPVP players leaving the game, I wonder why Anet doesn’t communicate at all with the PVP community. Many proposals have been made on how to save what is left of gw2 PVP and maybe even rekindle some enthusiasm for the game (particularly by Sindrener). However, not the slightest bit of information regarding ANets vision of future PVP has been released. If Anet won’t engage no more in matters of PVP and all ideas, hopes and proposals are in vain, it would at least be nice to know.

Shatter Mesmer needs nerf.

Wasn’t Anets promise to bring balance into the game and that every class should be playable?
But still they keep skills like Moa that defy every logic of balanced game play. Especially in combination with stealth ganking its just rediculous…Especially if you have no traits to keep you from cc you are basically a “freekill” as this streamer Helseth always calls the moa’ed players. And as mentioned above the ability to copy that skill with CS is just insane. How are you even supposed to fight even fights like 2v2 or 3v3 if one team mate is perma degraded to a moa-.-

Anti-stealth traps are underpowered.

Well the thing is that there won’t be much of a fight if a thief with a build build around stealth gets ripped out of it and can’t enter it for 30 sec.

And of course one can argue that builds can be changed but wasn’t the original idea of ANet to give everyone the opportunity to play each class the way you want?
Making a trap that destroys stealth is the same thing as creating a trap that forces the eles to stay in one attunement or the mesmer to loose all clones…

And I’ve seen Eles and Mesmers fighting 1 vs 5 and more, thats much rather a question of skill then profession.

I’d be happy with a trap that extends the time you can not reenter stealth or something like that, cause that would be a challenge and not a death sentence (if you have choosen to play a stealthy kind of thief)
