Transferred this Friday from EU to NA. And Battle Historian is saying I’m already associated with my new server, even though I’ve spent at least two weeks on the previous one.

Some people aren’t restricted from entering WvW at all as they transfer (with a chance they’ll actually get locked next matchup), some people are welcome to join WvW 3 days after they “turned their backs on their previous worlds”.

The only thing about transfers during the season that’s actually working correctly is the fact you have to waste a lot of gold/money to switch servers.

Exactly what im saying there is no weak server in this match up maybe SBI thinks its a 2 v1 because they are not used to 2 other strong servers in a match.

You can have doubts about it when you see two servers attacking your keep from different sides and backing off at the same time. Multiple times, for hours.

Then you see yb zerg defending sbi garrison pushing, and there’s eb zerg coming from behind to wipe sbi group and just go back without even touching yb as they had no intention of taking that keep or fighting yb. Just tell me, oh please tell me they came all the way from their spawn only to have a look at orange swords.

And then you see posts like this:

So, we took advantage of that and contacted the EBay commanders to let them know what SBI was doing and they ended up taking hills.

It’s not likely that servers would form an alliance, but some commanders or guilds could certainly do that. And then it’s two guys punching one and sharing the loot.

Thread is up for 7 months now, no reply and no action. Interesting.

Game supports many different languages excluding CIS and Indo-Iranian languages. It’s not half as insulting as En Masse IP block for all CIS countries, but still pretty disturbing.

I’m playing on NA server, and rather frequently I see conversations in korean, chinese and taiwanese in map, team, guild, say, even party chats. It’s not very nice to see your chat flooded with messages you can’t understand, but the very ability to use your native language is helping them build and sustain their community.

It would be very nice of you to let russian players do the same. It’s rather wierd for a russian to talk to another russian in english. Using latin alphabet to type in russian is an option, but it’s just so freaking lame, and we can’t always be using voice communication software.

It’s understandable that we’re not your target audience. But we still have money to pay for the game, and we’re not asking for much, not asking for localization – just the ability to use cyrillic in whispers, guild and party chats. It’s enough to get rid of this completely unnecessary communication barrier for russian players, and won’t hurt gw2 society in the slightest.

So as one more russian player and with little hope, I join in this proposal.
We really need this.

Just a note: SoR community is not classy enough to keep their word. Good fights though.
