Alright I did some digging and this nvidia driver crashing issue is so incredibly broad, that there is no way to pinpoint the problem just from seeing the driver crash.
See NVIDIA’s support forum for a nice explanation.

Interesting. I am getting "“Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.” messages as well
Same problems here. About 2-3 weeks ago I was having this exact problem with NVIDIA driver nvlddmkm crashing while in GW2. I did a few reinstalls, restarts and somehow (not sure how) the crashing stopped.
I log in the first time today after a few days, and I’m getting the crashes again. Textures are out of wack such as this — http://imgur.com/7A706
Did the following to try and fix it:
1. Restart —> GW2
2. Update window drivers --> GW2
3. Restart —> GW2
4. Update NVIDIA drivers (clean install 306.97) --> GW2
5. Restart —> GW2
6. Restart in safe mode, remove all NVIDIA drivers, reinstall newest —> GW2
nothing workin

Having the same problem I think. Windows (including GW2) will have the display driver restart randomly. The temperature is not high and just started to happen today. I’ve been playing fine up until today and I haven’t installed any drivers or programs, so this is very weird.
Using:
306.23 Nvidia
intel i7
windows 7 64bit
reinstalled drivers with no help.
According to the Rune page on the wiki, there are abilities when you have many in a set. e.x 3% chance to gain fury for 30 seconds when hit. (Cooldown: 60s)
What does “when hit” mean?
When I get hit? When I hit another person? Does it have to be from my weapon? Are kits OK? What if they run into my poison trap?
This happens all the time.
You have teammates and enemy invaders not displaying. There’s no way to know how large groups are because the game doesn’t want to display everyone on your screen.
Anet. I know you want to limit the amount of people on the screen. How about at least letting us know how many people are in the area? Maybe have a marker representing a player instead of turning them invisible. Having a simple 2d marker representing an invisible player would work wonders
