I agree with this. I have played a phantasm mesmer since beta as I never really liked the shatter mechanic but it’s just not viable anymore.
The damage I do is fine but since phantasms die to easily even with trait and signet of illusion it’s to easy to counter.

I think the greatsword phantasm needed fixing as that thing was completely bugged but why nerf beyond that.

It seems the latest patch has bugged the regular daily achievements.
I had completed all but the events on one character and switched to do some www to get the events. This caused the kills and killtypes to be reset but the gathering was still completed.
I then switched again and the gathering was then reset as well.

I am running a pistol dagger spec on my thief and imo it’s very powerful.
You can have decent survivability with 2,4k armor and 17k HP and still do good damage.
Also if specced like me he will remove conditions, gain regen and might each time he stealths and might with each dodge.

With this spec you will have to do very powerful aoe if you want that to deter him and I would not reccomend this. What you want to do is, as some people have said, keep moving and make him miss his cloak and dagger. Abilities that block cloak & dagger as well as cripple are my worst enemy.

Cloak and dagger will eat alot of initiative but he can be speced to regain on invis and on steal and also he most likely has other sneak skills to use too if he has too.

Only class to beat me in 1vs1 so far with this build is a good mesmer that beat me twice in a row.

Something must be done to adress the issue that is simply eating the items you wish to sell. This appears to happen from time to time when I wish to sell something.

I select what I wan’t to sell and then when I press the sell button the TP starts to load. Nothing happens for a few seconds then I get a message saying “Error while attempting to sell”. The problem is the items are gone from my inventory and no items were put on sale.
Also checked to see if the items were refunded in the pick up tab but they were not. This issue is causeing me to loose money when attempting to trade.

I think most people will get it. The only part of the achievements that is hard, the clock tower, doesn’t count so everyone that has been somewhat active during halloween will have it.

It’s very hard to compete with the witch and mad king without a gem bought costume. The only one I managed it with was the ghost one, that one is very powerful too.

I soloed him as a mesmer without dying. It took some time but it was doable.

It’s a bug. I have it too and there is a thread about it in the support section.

I have submitted a support ticket now as well as the bug report. No response yet though.

I have this problem too. I have completed 5 achievements but as clock tower and pumpkin carving doesn’t count I should be at 3/5.
I am however still stuck at 2/5.
