Yeah makes me a little sad that there wasn’t one announced. Usually expansions in MMO’s have that new playable race selling point. Maybe they haven’t announced one YET? Maybe we can dream…but I’m not giving them the benefit of the doubt, since why wouldn’t a company announce a new playable race and use it as it’s selling point?

IMO it’s really weird that they aren’t going to release a new race, seems like something that usually comes with an expansion

Thank you Mods for cleaning up all these posts. To everyone: Stop spamming the PvP forums, it looks bad, I fully understand(and so do the Mods&Devs) that people are mad at the current state of the game and a prominent PvP player like Xeph leaving.

But please, people leave and go all the time, do not spam the forums, that will get us no where. Spamming the forums just makes everything look bad to players and especially to players who are just joining the game and who are looking for the forums for advice.

Please, stop spamming these things happen in all types of game. Players will leave, and players will come, no reason for this craziness. Thank you again Mods for clearing all these posts.

Amateur doesn’t mean the player is bad or noob per se. Koroshi has no high level rank account thus making him an amateur to the s/tpvp scence. WvW is a whole’nother discusion. And by those standards you cannot be an amatuer by making a smurf account because you already have a high ranked account making you not an amateur.

Amateur shouls not be a word to define bad/good. While I agree with you that rank does not determine skill level it doea determine how long a player has been playing. I can be the best in NA while rank 10 and still be an amateur.

Maybe you just need a break from the game, I for one played since release, took a month break somewhere around December, came back and it felt like a new game. Take a break, come back, and level an alt. Also join a guild, usually the best guilds are the ones that don’t have 400+ members. Play some sPvP, try some builds out there, and try to find a casual guild to play with.

Great videos man, watched all of them. I’m currently playing an engineer in sPvP/tPvP/and WvW as well. I’m leaning towards bombs when using a condition build. Using your build as a template, but editing it a little since It was a “insta-win” button for me in WvW. Anyways great videos and thanks for the knowledge, I’m happy in a way that most engies got out of the 100nades meta and looking into more builds.

Is rabid gear only accessible from Temples and WvW? If one does not wish to grind the karma and or WvW tokens, is there an alternative?

I have noticed that the asura walking with the rest of the races is wearing that same set. So is the set in game? I would like to hear a response from ANET, I’ve sent a ticket in about one month ago and haven’t gotten a response. If a ANET dev can reply to this it would be awesome.

It was moving at a snails pace, now it errored out. Connection errors.

This is why you provide the update BEFORE HAND, so people can download it throughout the week. Then flick a switch and make it live… Another game does this and it is successful.

If they provided the files in advance, Im sure they have the technology to enable said files serverside…limiting the amount of people downloading at once. This is a result of a few million people world wide trying to download the patch all at once. It was going SO slow, then stopped.

Exactly, the problem wasn’t ANET fixing the patch today, they could have down this anytime while people could have been patching the entire game. The game will be unplayable, and I doubt…maybe even sure that 90% of the player base won’t be playing tonight.

Yes, everyone is getting connection errors. But I don’t understand why they would would until this time to release it.

I have also contacted the devs and got this response: “‘Im sorry to hear about the issue you’ve been having finding an item set. I’m afraid the NCsoft Support team would be unable to speak to the availability of items, as many items are meant to be rare or difficult to find. I could only recommend posting your thoughts on the forums () to add other players to the discussion or even possibly get a response from a member of ArenaNet directly as they do frequent the forums.”

You can get that skin from the heart vendors in Fireheart Rise (possibly some other 60+ zone(s) also). Obviously you’ll need to run all over the place to get each piece.

Is this the tactical set you are talking about that’s in Fireheart Rise? If it is, wrong set.

What ever happened to the Tribal Set that WAS in the game. People have been asking this question and never got an answer from the DEVS. The armour is in PvP and is labeled under the name “Masquerade” which is awkward since there is a PvE masquerade set that looks nothing like it. If a dev can answer this question It would be awesome, and I can stop looking for it.
