Hello there. I’m posting all late in this thread. And to be frank, my reply is more of advice or rather it’s my opinion based on my observation while I’ve been playing. I can’t confirm or link to a confirm or deny post.
What I have noticed over my rough two years of playing the game is that nothing in the Gem Store seems to stay or leave forever. I’ve seen even exclusive event items return such as mini pets that were made for a spring time baby event, and even these come back eventually. Even though I waited and took the time to follow this just to get the white kitten, I’m not angry that these can still be bought from time to time. If I had missed the last one I would have been so upset and I’m glad Anet understands this much.
Even if the wings aren’t permanent when they DO come out, I have a very strong feeling that they will reoccur just like seasonal outfits! Though it may be hard to predict when since the wings don’t have a holiday theme like Christmas outfits or Valentines day gear.
So I try to keep this attitude about all Gem Store items and I hope anyone who reads this does the same, if only to keep themselves calm and to avoid the awful icky feeling of despair.
( Please if anyone has noticed something I’ve said that has been proven untrue, correct me ASAP! My intent is not to give out false information which is why I clearly state at the beginning that this is my opinion based on what I’ve seen while playing. )
