Guild Wars 2

I am a returning player currently in search of a good guild that will fit my play style, and I am not willing to pay for a transfer. I have a level 80 Elementalist, although I’m toying with a low level Mesmer at the moment.

A bit about me and what I’m looking for. I reside on the West Coast so I’m looking for a guild that has activity during Pacific prime time, especially at night. I have a family and a full-time job so I don’t play but a few times a week for a few hours at a time, I occasionally play a little more on weekends. I like the PvE in this game and I would like to get into the WvW at some point as well. I’ve been in big box guilds, but I have never felt that they really meshed well with my personality, so I’m looking for something on the small to medium side.

I’m trying to encourage my wife to start back up as well, I feel if I find a good guild it will be easier to get her to play again.

I’m sitting at 10% with only 164 MB downloaded so far. I’ve had this happen before and the best way to fix it is to close GW2 launcher and start it over again. Give it a minute or two and if it doesn’t seem like you are making a decent dent after 100 MB start it over again.

Last time this issue happened to me I had to restart the client 3 times before it realized it didn’t need to download the entire game again.

I’m looking for a guild that has a lot of activity during PST prime time hours. I have a level 80 Elementalist currently and I’m willing to transfer. I would prefer to take advantage of transfer service before Arenanet starts charging for it, so I’m looking to find a guild in a fairly short amount of time.

I do not like big box guilds, and I’m a casual player due to the fact that I work 50ish hours a week, and I have a family as well.

My wife and I are currently in search of a good guild that will fit our play style, and we would like to stay on our current server (Yak’s Bend) if possible, but we’re open to transferring for the right guild. I play a level 80 Elementalist, and my wife has a level 80 Guardian.

I’ve tried EST and CST guilds but I feel its in our best interests to find a guild who has a lot of activity during Pacific prime time. Also, I was in a guild recently that I thought was a good fit but they required forum activity that I just didn’t have time for with my busy work schedule. I have no issues with using a guild forum, they’re very useful tools. I just don’t have time to post on them all the time when my work schedule becomes more active.

Just a bit above level 70 on my main character and I play only a few nights a week. I prefer PvE at the moment since my play sessions are a bit short to do any real WvWvW, and I’m not terribly interested in sPvP.

I’m looking for a guild that doesn’t demand a lot of time since my free time is very limited. Currently I’m on Yak’s Bend and would prefer not to transfer.

My play times on week days are usually after 8 to 10 PM PST. Weekends are spotty, some weekends I can be on often, some I’m not on much at all.

One last thing. I don’t like guilds that are so huge that I don’t really feel like I’m getting to know anyone at all. I don’t need another large chat channel, I have local chat in Lions Arch for that.

I’m a new player to GW2 and I’m looking for a guild on Eredon Terrace, I really don’t want to move since I have a RL friend on this server.

Two pet peeves I find when looking for a guild is the “mature” theme, when all it usually turns into are people in their 20’s, 30’s, 40’s etc… acting like they’re in middle school/high school. I don’t mind occasional dirty jokes, and what not, I just don’t feel it’s necessary to go overboard with this behavior. I also don’t like being in extremely large guilds due to the fact that I feel like it’s just a smaller global chat channel than an actual tight group of players enjoying the game together.
