First i need to say that my intension is to help. The English isn’t my main language, so please, try to understand that any rude expression of mine isn’t on purpose.

I think that is an absurd to ask a person to give serial number to recovery an GW2 Account (password reset) , when the account was completely registered before, because you can use the email authentication to send the link for password reset. The owner is the only responsible of his privacy and access to the given email address registered on the account.

When I did my registration, I’ve used the serial number of GW2 Product and thought that website would store my data and I didn’t needed to remember it again.

If you think that email is not enough, then you can send an SMS message with an authentication code to the mobile phone of the owner account. You also can use SMS messages to other alerts needed. (Users may have to pay any costs involved in SMS messages sent)

Please, remove the need of remembering the Serial Number of any product we got. Users only need to register Serial Numbers once. The ArenaNet is responsible to store and maintain the accounts data in a secure manner and ensure that has all information needed to contact or recognize the owner.

Yeah, isn’t playable.

I love this game, but i still miss that feature!
Most of the times, I play the game when my guild is asleep and I can’t find any group to do dungeons. If we get a group finder it will be more easy. World of Warcraft has that feature and don’t want to return to that game because I think that GuildWars 2 is better, but maybe I’ll change because I can’t find groups to do dungeons.

I am facing the same problem, but I made my own workaround using “World of Warcraft®: Cataclysm™ MMO Gaming Mouse” software with the assignment of predefined Wow commands, for example you could assign wow action butons 1-10 to your mouse buttons.

It isn’t a solution, but will solve the problem!
