I got the exact same message when I tried to log in for the first time after the authentication server went bogus a few hours ago. But unlike you I did indeed use software that sort of tampers the game: a GPU tweaking tool that is also capable of recording ingame videos called MSI Afterburner (and its supplementary tool Riva Tuner Statistics Server). Anyways I contacted the support, we’ll see.
