I only ever use it for the Knockdown/back interrupt in WvW. It’s pretty useless otherwise.
I promise it’s not that piece. I had that left over when I got it, because I also thought it was that. Look for hidden trees. Some are behind rocks and there is even a few on top of the hillsides. Look up. It’s probably some tiny trees you’re missing.
I’m working on my seventh level 80 right now and on a daily basis, I leave my other 6 level 80’s sitting in Southsun Cove to mine the Ore/Wood. I come out with about 66 Ingots daily. That’s from hitting the Rich and the two other nodes with 6 characters.
I really don’t think the few people who have the fortitude to get a Level 2 over to the Rich node are making a big difference. I’ve tried bringing a level 72 into Southsun and they were agroed further than my 80’s and one-shotted. I highly doubt there are many people using this tactic.
That being said, yeah, put a level 60 cap on the picks and such, because I’m sure that’s what was intended and just missed.
100x this thread. This game needs a PTR badly. Look at the last update. They broke jumping. They broke the very boss they were fixing in Fractals. It could have taken 1 dev to run through that fight after initiating the “fix” to make sure it ran smoothly. They didn’t and it didn’t.
I’m not even blaming Anet really. Either you’re understaffed, overworked, or both. Get a PTR going before the insane amount of bugs in this game continue to push players out.
Maybe he is away from his keyboard?
Nope, that was for the weekend event only. It’s definitely level 80 only now – those mobs hit very hard if you’re not level 80. I’ve tried to bring Characters at level 72 in there and they’ve been pretty much one-shotted.
I thought it would be really cool if in an upcoming Expansion or Big update, we could “restore” out HoM, or new players could build one. It could be a personal housing system of sorts.
I also didn’t get mine, however there is no shortage of players in my Guild claiming to have received one even though they got the Event reward. Nice.
Last night, I switched to an EU Server (I’m in Canada) with some EU friends after we decided to try a different server over our NA one. Everything was fine, I played WvW, leveled up in some low level zones, ran around LA and never had an issue.
This morning I logged in and I’m getting extreme lag and frequent disconnects. This has never happened before. I understand this could be a freak one time thing and that playing on an EU server when you live in NA is not ideal. However, is it supposed to be unplayable if I chose this option? The EU players on my old NA server never had issues like this.
Should I be switching back to an NA server next week or does someone have another explanation on why this would be happening? I don’t believe it’s my ISP either.
I love you OP. I’m downloading it now and unfortunately I actually just reformatted my comp so I have to Re-DL GW2 and check this out tomorrow. Even if this doesn’t fix my FPS issues, I’m happy someone posted this on the forums and is looking out for other AMD players. Especially since ANet hasn’t responded much. Thanks.
Man, I would just love an ANet response at least. Even if it’s “We have no idea wtf is going on but we’re looking into it.”
The most frustrating thing about this sudden issue is it’s hard to be optimistic when nothing is being said. I had an issue in SWTOR way back when it launched where a sudden patch literally would crash my game when I joined a group. I found out quickly I was among an extreme minority this issue happened to. I quit shortly after, since it made end game impossible. This feels very similar. I almost no FPS in WvW and there’s no logical reason for it.
So, please ANet, at least address this. Issues happen, that’s fine, I can even be patient, but an acknowledgement goes a huge way with your customers.
Same thing with me. I’ve fiddled with a bunch of the settings to see what the problem is and can’t find it anywhere. Like the above poster, WvW is practically impossible for me right now. Side note: I’m on a high end PC, and this just began today for me, so there’s no reason for this issue to be on the User side.
