i love the name vayne, just cos of league of legends. im addicted to the champion and have nearly 100 games as vayne in ranked LoL.

im gonna try the queensdale thing if i get my account back, and work out what i can do to get into pvE and such.

i used to play runescape before the recent combat rework. i got a goal i wanted 3-4 years ago (99 hp untrimmed) and have kept it since. (super casual, i know) i had all combat stats 90+ and i had 95 pray 96 summ 94~herb etc etc :L pretty disappointed i left it behind since getting another 99 would of meant having to get rid of 99 hp (u) and beyond that i couldnt enjoy skilling because of the sheer amount of bots.

also on a side note, im addicted to league of legends. got silver 2 this season :P

Hahaha all I can say mate is welcome to GW2! leave all that crap behind you of “grinding” and “competing to be the best on a highscores list” and just have FUN gaming again!

PS, Runescapes “new” combat system you speak of is such an obvious copy of the GW1 system – fun tid bit for you lol…

Now if only Anet would copy some of Runescape’s “distractions and diversions” or even “dungeonering system” we could see a HUGE improvement to this game.

But enough of that talk at risk of infractions!

there was only one way for me to break my 99 hp(u) cape. and that was with a dungeoneering cape. i hated it once the combat changed =/ i gave up on grinding once i got 99hp(u) cape. it was all casual as kitten from then on.

i think i got to like 92 or 93 dungeoneering, with 3 chaotics. i lost one or two chaotics though. NOW THEY GOT WEAPONS BETTER THAN CHAOTICS!! so yeah kitten runescape.

Meh I got to 98 magic the hard way back in classic, trust me I know your pains….. and yes I agree good riddance to that game.

If you do get back into GW add me to friend’s list, same name is here and we can dis on RS sometime.

youll have to pay me to make me play RS again. and im not sure how adding people on gw2 works (until i get unbanned) plus tonights im going to my girls parents place for dinner so, tuesday .

I have the two profession in lvl80 full equipped with many builds.

Warrior, far superior right now, more viable overall, more working builds available.

Guardian will have bad times after the bad upcoming patch. Incoming nerf to vigor and swifness with useless buff in dps and no softCC or condition options incoming.

Guardian have a LOT (more than 50%) of useless traits. And a LOT of useless utilities (spirit weapons in example), a lot of weakness (low health, no softCC, low mobility, no condition damage, crappy ranger options, etc, etc) and symbol useless mechanic for wvw. And this will not improve with upcoming changes because the devs dont care/understand the profession, and this is reflected in every comment, patch or video they made.

If you still love to play guardian anyways, and you only want to play frontline support tanky for wvw zerg or spvp bunker (even with nerf vigor incoming) roll a guardian. If not, roll a warrior.

Thanks, i think ill just play a warrior until i know more about what i want from the game.

Im thinking of making a guardian as a first character. I just want to make a tanky character that isnt a necro (had a lvl 39 necro a few weeks after release) and i am between a guardian and a warrior. advice?

i also like guides, so if theres an indepth guide for noobs that would be KITTENLY AMAZING

I bought GW2 at launch and played it for only a few weeks. a few months ago it was hacked apparently =/ now i logged on like yesterday and i was banned for botting.

i sent support a ticket and stuff but i just wanna know from the forum how likely it is that ill get my account back. i aint spending money on a new account. =/

I think it is very likely that you get your account back (considering you are right bout your claim being hacked).

Support can investigate the period off botting and likely can confirm your account was logged in from a different location. So it is something that in most circumstances can be verified.

If you logged in yourself after december 2012 you can also get an account restoration (before that there is no data known to know what to restore it too).

I also advise you to take a good look at your personal computer security. Hackers often have access to your email-account as well, and might have keyloggers installed. So please do a full security sweep and change your emailpassword and ask support to help you change the game password. Also make sure the passwords are different.

i got emails at one point saying that i had china logging in, and did a computer sweep then. if problems persist im changing everything. but thanks for the help

not to be a hardass, but the ragdoll physics would probably be different for different people. you’d see people kick over bodies that you cant see and stuff. monster hunter 3 style.

I cant play at the moment, (account banned from a hacker who botted months ago, hope i get account back) but if i get back in, what do most players do in the game now? i heard that the pvp is still kinda strong but i dont know much about the rest of the game as i only ever had a lvl 39 character (im lazy, and i played a lot of pvp).

As a side note, anybody here who used to play runescape?
