I can also confirm that running Guild wars 2 as admin will speed up the download significantly.

I have the same problem. It’s downloading in 15-30kb/s. According to a friend this is a 440MB patch so this is going to take awhile..

I would love to anet to fix this any time soon. The terrible queue is the reason I stopped playing Guild Wars 2 and I would love to start again if they just fixed this.

I just logged on and have some serious issues myself. It’s impossible for me to play right now. Any official statement would be nice.

I never bothered about the story in living story since I had missed so much, but his recap really helped me out. Now I can finally play and appreciate the story. WoodenPotatoes deserves this!
