Guild Wars 2

Hello,
I’ve come back from a bit of a hiatus due to college responsibilities and I’m looking to resume my active play in GW2. Unfortunately, my current Guild has fallen a bit with the only activity being a Bounty Hunt every Sunday (and even that is occasionally skipped).

I’m looking for a primarily English-speaking Guild interested in PvE; Dungeons and Fractals, and fairly casual and really friendly. I’m probably not considered a hardcore GW2 gamer because I still have a lot to learn about builds, so I really don’t want guildmates on my case about being an “unexperienced noob”, though I will accept any help or advice there is to offer.
I’m not very adept at PvP and WvW, but I can run around aimlessly in WvW if need be.

If the Guild is in Desolation, that would be ideal. I can’t really afford the gold to move servers permanently, but I am willing to guest.

Please don’t send me blind invites to your guild. This tells me nothing about it!
If you send an invite, also send me mail in-game and tell me a little about the guild.
Please don’t send mail to my GW2.com account because I’m rarely ever logged in and I wont see it.

I’ve been stuck on 9/13 for the past 24 hours. I’ve been keeping track of what maps I’ve completed and what maps I haven’t. I’ve been only on non-overflow servers and I was never disconnected nor did I change characters.

Hello. I’m looking to join a relatively close-knit, fun, active PvE guild. Some WvW/PvP is fine but I just can’t seem to get into a full-blown WvW/PvP guild and have fun.
I’ve just left a very close guild recently due to leadership issues (I was leader, communication issues with the secondary leader), and I just haven’t felt at home since. I would like to find a guild that is really helpful in PvE. I love to party up and do map completion and I love dungeon runs. I’m as helpful as I can be, myself, so I hope a really nice guild can throw me a PM or invite.
Server is not an issue. I’m in the midst of earning the gold I need to transfer if I do need to. I’m currently housed in DR.

I’m going to add my name to the long list of people frustrated over this. I’ve been watching that topic every day, checking it to see if perhaps I could log in and finally finish that quest. I think it’s foolish and cowardly to have that thread locked. Like we’re hurting their feelings. If this were any other kind of game, it would be recalled or at least updated ASAP to avoid all of this drama. Storymode glitch? Are you serious? I expect this kind of behaviour from those free-to-download client MMOs, you know, ‘you get what you pay for’. But this game cost me a substantial amout of money. After bills and rent, this game takes up most of my paycheque. We’re customers and the product is broken. Things should have been dealt with way faster considering that during the Halloween event, there were updates almost every day. This is just silly now. Check your priorities ANet and don’t send someone over to block our voices when we say something true that you don’t like.
