Not really a bug or anything, but I wasn’t sure where else to put it, so I apologize.
When you speak to Euryale after(possibly before as well, but I only spoke to her after) speaking to Rtylock, she says that she “can’t wake to break ’em in”. I’m assuming that’s supposed to be ‘wait’, or I’m just totally missing a possible true saying.
I’ve been able to play GW2 fine the past few days, but tonight when attempting to sign on I’d get to the character selection, choose a character, begin to load in the map when it just keeps loading. It doesn’t stop, doesn’t advance, and my entire computer just stops loading things.
I was listening to music and it couldn’t even buffer the song, couldn’t open a browser, even starting the task manager took 30s-1m to open up. When I got it open and looked at the processes, the GW2 client even after I shut it and sent in a crash report, was still up and at 407k in memory. CPU usage was still at 3% and kept going down.
I’m unsure where this suddenly came from, and I’m slightly worried. Might run a system reboot as it might just be my system for all I know.
Any help?
EDIT: I’ve confirmed that, so far, it’s only when I’m trying to load into Divinity’s Reach that I get stuck at load in. I’ve created a character, run around and talked with NPC’s, and loaded into other map areas. But that so far is the one place I cannot seem to load into.
Not to be mistaken for the Quaggankeep POI, I was wondering if anyone has found a way/knows when they’re going to implement the map completion achievement for Gendarren Fields? I’ve googled it and found only 1 thread, saying it was going to be added in July, but I can’t find a way up and around. Kinda sad I just came back yesterday and I already can’t complete my map.
Any help or updates would be appreciated. Thank you.
I agree highly with Dogblaster from page1. The massive swarm of irritating community and bots would be horrible. Yeah, they happen anyways, but it would be 100x worse.
Plus, with Anet’s amazing job so far on events and answering, I don’t want to see them give that away for free. They wouldn’t make more from gems, because I know a great deal of people that HATE gem stores. It wouldn’t make enough, compared to people who really like the game and buy it, play it for free after that, and buy gems if they want to.
They’d probably have to add in some pay2win things into the store if they did go gem only. It’s really common.
