Thanks for posting this, I feel its something Anet really need to look into as an issue. The game seems over run at the moment with gold sellers, with account hackers targeting the game, and the conversion rate for gems to gold seems very poor (I hadn’t realised about that 40% cut) making the legitimate trade more attractive to players would be the right way to go.
