I want to thank you, dear Devs, for trying to actually communicate with the community. It’s a nice change.

Since we’re at it, I’d also like to bring up certain issue in certain class subforum which didn’t get a response from a dev in more than a year (1+ YEAR)

Being a software engineer myself, I can understand that there is a lot of other issues / projects that have higher priority… but nonetheless, I still fail to understand that not a single one of your employees managed to find 30-50 minutes in the past year to fix this issue.

Lots of people see endgame in GW2 as pretty much tweaking the appearance, making their character army look smooth, special, and pretty. With my engie, I went for steampunk looks; with Gas Mask, Magitech armor, The Predator, Static Tempered Spinal Blades and Medium Fused Gauntlets. And it all looks awesome until I enter combat when kits glitch out with visuals. Now, as an example, imagine other game that cares about collecting visuals having such problems…i.e. Hats in TF2 glitching in a very weird ways through characters models…. it wouldn’t be a pretty sight, would it?
Because of these issues, I even decided not to invest any time into making any new LS back items after tempered blades, it just isn’t worth the time.

I know engie is the least played class, but it doesn’t mean their subforum needs to be totally ignored, it deserves some attention, the class is very fun to play, I have all classes on max level, and I still love my engie the most, the class has bigger potential than the current “meta” classes, I think it’s the most creative class and kudos to devs that designed it,…but please continue to maintain it, don’t let it rot just because majority of players went for easy mode play exp on warriors/guardians. Thanks.

Dear devs, please add that toggle button, that tiny miny checkbox that would bring smile on the face of every person with engie as a main toon. It shouldn’t be that hard. At least fix the back item clipping issue, that ain’t a feature, it’s a clear bug, a bug which could be fixed in 30 min max.

I’m pretty ashamed of the GW2 community here on the forums, all I can see is demands.

Is it so unreasonable and crazy to have demands for the product you bought (the one at which you potentially still throw your hard earned RL money)?

i.e. You bought a new car, is it so unreasonable that you want its front lights to work? I don’t think it is.
Also, just FYI, if GW2 was a car, there would be more than just front lights not working at the moment… lately quite a few bad things were implemented and/or not fixed, it’s no suprise that quite a big part of community is unhappy.

I’ll join in on this MS rage with some feedback of my own. It’s pretty much the worst new feature that was brought into this game.

Why?
1) Server community = GONE. I played on Desolation for more than a 1.5 year now and I must say I had pretty nice experience, I liked the cheerful community there….now it’s pretty much gone. When I log in these days I usually notice quite a few of impolite people on map chat, fighting over something, sometimes it’s even based on nationality or server association (hatred spreading from WvW based rivalry, it’s quite sad). These days all I’m thinking about when logging in is what kind of kittenly impoliteness I’m going to have to observe on say/map chat, it makes me rather sad.

2) Language based bucket filling. Why did you assume all people want to play with others that speak the same language? I come from Balkanic region, and I really LOVE to avoid fellow country mates / neighbours due to a fact I could easily get insulted for doing nothing wrong. These days I see quite a lot more of them, and (no offense), there’s always 50% chance I’ll run into some impolite individual that is going to make my day only worse. I rather like hanging around with English/Swedish/Finnish people due to the fact…. well, I find them more fun to have a conversation with.

3) Guild Missions are impossible to do (need to be reworked majorly if this MS feature stays). I’m in a guild with 300+ people and it’s a living hell to bring even 50 to the same “bucket” so we could do i.e. bounty. It’s the definition of chaos. On the politeness note, it’s also much worse due to a fact other impatient guilds tend to insult our members (again, for doing nothing wrong).

4) With all people filling the buckets, another thing-we-cannot-discuss about fills up those buckets and spams the hell out of everything (and block lists are limited).

5) People not ressing. Yes, it’s a psychologically related issue cause by the fact people think they’re not going to see the same individual ever again, so why should we ress him? Better to just run over him like he/she is a plant.

6) The feeling of MS is just wrong wrong wrong (see attached picture). About week ago I ran into a person dressed up identically the same as me, down to every little detail, with just different colours. With such crowdedness , people will tend to lose that feeling of being unique

On the bright side, due to all this I started to play WvW alot more, and it’s probably the only feature of the game I’ll play if the things stay the way they are. That is the only place where I can hang around with fellow server buddies and it’s fairly free of all the mental trash talk I could read in PvE maps.
