No one knows? Are we really stuck with 0-1 pristine per day now? (depending on whether you get the daily or not).
With the old eotm rates, the rate of getting gear with badges was still slower than alternative routes (e.g. gold, or pvp reward paths), but roughly on par. Now they are a complete joke. They should probably nerf the WvW dailies by -90% as well because right now rewards from one daily equates to around 3-6 hours of WvW in terms of rewards.
Indeed the Edge rewards are now a complete joke. If are a new player like me who still needs badges for gear, you may as well just complete the dailies (half of which are broken now) then log off and do something else. Or go play PvE which gives actual rewards, which you can then use in WvW.
If badge rewards are meant to be nerfed to oblivion like this so you get 1 badge from capturing a keep, then the badge rewards should cost a LOT less badges as well. Ignoring the daily rewards, you could cut down the badge costs of the equipment to 1/10th of their current values and they would probably be at a more sensible place than they are now.
Apart from the daily fractal quest is there no way to get them now? Has the daily fractal chest (the one you could get for each reward tier) been removed?
WvW rewards are a complete joke now as well. You get 1 badge from capturing a keep, zero badges from everything else. (badges from player kills seem to be the same)
