I’ve heard that warriors don’t stand a chance in 1v1 though when against another class with somebody of equal skill. Is this true?

Hi! Basically, I’m having a super difficult time picking a class and I’m a tad frustrated. I’ve tried each class for a tiny amount of time and have spent the most time on my warrior. Warrior seemed great a first, but I got wrecked at 1vs1. It was impossible to get anywhere near my opponent. Would this also be an issue in WvW or PvP?

I’m looking for something that’s decent in PvE, WvW and 1vs1 while also not being too difficult to play since I only bought this game a few days ago. Basically, something balanced.

So my question is, what class would be the best fit to me?
