Well, it would obviously help someone in my original situation. Prevent that huge cost by just letting them buyback.
Easier said than done when one lacks an active guild.
I’m aware of that, but my point is that this is an exceedingly steep penalty for what would otherwise be solved with just a buyback mechanic. How many times have any of you been off by one click? When has that one click resulted in something that would take months to fix?
Has anyone else had a problem with this?
But that’s still at a rare drop rate, with a max of 2-3 per day. Assuming I get 3, every single day, it’s still going to take me 71 days.
Edit: But that’s not the point that I’m looking to make. I’m arguing that it’s a really harsh penalty to have for a single misclick.

Or perhaps they could make blade shards purchasable with festival tokens.
Did not realize that amning-day would be censored. That made it sound so much worse.
Dear Anet,
The Blade Shard Vendor in Labyrinthine Cliffs should have a buyback option. I was selling my surplus shards there, only to accidentally click one too many times, and now I no longer have enough to complete my back piece…
Even worse, I looked into how difficult it would be to undo this damage, and get 212 more blade shards. By crafting, it would take (barring the rare craft chance of 50 blade shards, rather than the usual 10 per recipe) about 1150 watchword sprockets, which would cost 34.5 gold on the tp, or the better part of a year from the node at home. I also tried farming aetherblades for an hour in the “Not so Secret” JP, and got 1 shard for my troubles.
So that’s one brutal misclick. As such, I’m writing this to ask if it would be feasible to either make blade shards be marketable on the tp, or to add buyback option to prevent such mishaps.
Sincerely,
Offworld

Does anyone know how to fix this?
Hi,
I recently bought this game, but after installing the client and waiting for the game to update, I now find myself unable to log in. I entered my account name and password, just as I logged in to post this, pressed the “Log in” button, and waited. All that happens is the small grey loading wheel keeps spinning, and nothing happens.
My computer is currently up to date with the latest version of the latest mac OS. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, how did you fix it?
Thanks,
Offworld
